Wat the F.... yar..all dese big brand b-schools r losing brand values bcz of delay in announcing their results,UBS one such example......LIBA assured dat da result wil b out by 23/24 nd nw one puy is saying it wil b out by 26th...seriously hav lost all pateince wid it...
one chennai puy told dat dey gt to knw da result 2 days bfr da colg announces it online...nw since they hav nt got to knw ..it means thr r stil couple of days more to go...

Most probably the final list will be out by 26th.. as one of the Most renowned personality Mr CK Prahalad is coming to LIBA on Monday evening..U guys may receive phone calls from the office that You have been selected before the actual list is out..

Roughly 10-12 days time is given for the submission of first installment of your fee...approx 65000INR

A final list and a waiting list (of around 20 students) will be out...

then they said ..the only problem would be consistency in academics......as i had 2 Re-appears in my B.E..

hi this is himu. I had my gd/pi on 15 th instant.gd was partially fish market. pi was of 20 mins. don't know whats in fate. any one can through some lights whether xat score is taken into accnt or not. and what to make out from lengthy pi?

As per my discussion with the admissions office the final list will not be out before 25th in any case. So according to the info i have got the list will be out either on 25th or later. Seems like u guys will have to wait a little more.

hey puys....there r many butterflies in stomach dancing at da momnt...lolzzz.....they askd me 3 ques on acads...answrd 1,made a correct guess in 2nd,stuck in da 3rd one,they said ur fundas r nt clear...may b they said dat to make me nervous....hopefully,they dint mean that!!

reg my gd/pi... was in the same group CB1 15 march chennai... gd was close to a fishmarket..atleast i cud smell some fish...one girl was trying to tell her entire life history in the gd.. not working thou... in my pi the panel told me that she was talking absolute shit.. and told me tht the group shud have stopped her...

Had my GD/PI at LIBA 2day....

GD Topic: In most corporates, ethics is for show, corruption is for real.

GD went well... no fish market.

PI was cool... no technical questions...

They said 90% of batch has been placed and the Avg till date is 7.5L. Placement for whole batch is expected to get over by this weekend.

GD: Topic was "Youth are responsible for improving the society, give us a break"...

A "category 5 moron" started a GD, gave some stupid points abt youth, did not try to define the keywords nor did he try to define the scope of the discussion. GD was partly a fish market; you need to have a loud voice to silence the other guys. There was one troublesome girl speaking "n" number of times, saying a same point over and over, I felt like thrashing that b***h.
She single handedly managed to reduce the GD to a fish market. I chipped in a few times, but I am not convinced with the group behaviour. Couple of guys did not speak at all. God knows wht is going to happen.

PI was cool as expected. Panel was very genial and supportive. My advice to guys is, just be honest. Avoid bullshitting, accept mistakes. I personally feel they value ethics more than numbers. The best panel I have sat through. Very supportive. Questions were the usual stuff. Nothing new.

I have one valid point for GD.

They ask for a written summary at the end of the GD. They give just around 2 mins to finish it, and get the papers after 120 secs. Many ppl in my group did not write more than 2 lines. So guys start writing the summary right after the GD starts. You might get some points even if you did not speak much. And whatever u prepare for the GD, you just need a couple for MORONS to screw it up. And do not start if you are not sure abt hw to start a GD. Today was a classic example of hw not to start a GD.

Good luck for other guys.

had my gd today at liba no fish market very civilised group every one was given a chance to speak and eventually the gd ended!

with regards to the pi it was a total disaster as in i fumbled a lot was not able to convince them ! neways no probs if not this other doors are there cheers puys all the best to others!

Yeah mate... I was there in your group... Worst gd i have seen in a long time with no content, sense and definitely we couldn't come to a consensus... And yes few guys were literally shouting, one even threatening :)... Pi went well for me... Just 4 minutes...

i was d first one to start... ten i also try 2 unsuccesful attempts to enter in d middle.:sad:..finally after some time i was able to put my point...:biggrin:we were haivn 6-7 students in our grp...overall GD was ok...GD was of short duration only...after tat we were supposed to write 2 minutes of summary...

This year because of IT recession ,for all the colleges seat: student ratio has been about 1:18+ so it's all about luck , it looks like lottery, lucky ones will be only winners.Colleges are having good time as they have people applying with all kinda of backgrounds

liba wale pata nahi same que sabi se kyu pooch rahe hai har kisi ka GD/PI sahi gaya hai to unka kya criteria hai select karne ka kuch samjh may nahi aa rhaa hai mera bhi aaj tha hamare batch se same que jo previous pooche ja chuke hai har kisi ka mast gaya
ab to bas bhagwan ke bharose hai dekho kis ki kismat saath lati hai milte hai laila may it's in tamil...... okk al da best take care

My GD-PI was on 6'th March 3 p.m. in Mumbai.As pointed out by one puy earlier the topic was 'Should human rights be granted to terrorists or not'.It wasn't a normal discussion.Fish-market situation prevailed many times.My GD perfomance was average.Then they asked us to write summary in 3-4 mins.

Q. How will you get above 60%? (I am in B.Tech final year with 5.52 (55.2%) until 6'th semester.
Then the discussion shifted onto My medical problem as I tried to be very frank with them and explained that my low scores in Eng. are closely related with me suffering a med.problem due to chemical imbalance.I don't know whether I did right or not.Anyway my inerview was over in about 6-7 mins. let's see what happens.

wel in our group dere were only 6 ppl n 2 were absent
GD over in 6-8min
given arnd 2 min to sumarise n jot it down

i was first person to be interviewed

You need to carry a photocopy of ur 10th,12th and ur graduation marksheets of all years ....also if u have a work ex..carry documents to show the same...as such no verification was done at the centre..but it was mentioned on the call tht one needs to have the photocopies attested. so if incase u have'nt done tht just carry the originals to be on the safer side..

thanks for sharing ur experence,can u tell us ur XAT score bcoz are they asking other call ques to everybody or to the people with very high score also please share wht u said in back ques:tellme::bigear: coz i also have some of them

I got 90.01. Other calls can include CAT and other exams hence dont think XAT score matters. I didnt answer that question :D.

Topic: Corporate Social responsibility is a hypocrisy

There were 14 people. Sadly all were boys :-(. One needed to fight to get his point across. Wouldnt call it a fish market but unless you had a loud voice it would have been hard to get your points through. At times many people spoke at once.
In the last 2 minutes we had to summaries the discussion and after that a written summary had to be given.

Interview

It was quite a calm process. No hurry no stress. Very relaxed in fact.

Why so many back papers
What is your fav subject.( No accad questions were asked though)
Have you been to Chennai? Why?( that lead to a long conversation )
Why should we select you ( I was a bit taken aback with that question, they didnt ask that to any 1 else so wasnt expecting that )
Which other calls? Which is you 1st option(that also lead to a long conversation)
About family, and information about their work
Why no work exe ( I passed out in 200

It lasted about 15 minutes.
