I have something even more interesting to share, as i have already mentioned about my reason of leaving the institute, (to be honest i did not want to leave after having spent 6 months )but in our batch after joining the institute all of us were disappointed after knowing the truth and, 5 students in my presence left the institute just because of the fake claims and poor facilities in terms of faculty and several other reasons which i have mentioned, degree was one major concern for people who had plans of higher studies like Phd.

I can well explain in and out of this institute, i unfortunately took admission in 2013 knowing it was an institute being funded by govt. as they boast, and me along with some other mates in college were not allowed to sit in first and second trimester exams and were compelled to drop an year on the name of low attendance i had already given my medical which to me was told to have accepted. And, surprisingly without any prior notice on the day of the first exam i was informed not to sit in the exam. I left the institute couldn't do much around 200k went for toss. To talk about the college it is not approved by any central or state govt. nor is it an autonomous body since dat too requires the permission of some authentic govt body and yes, don't go by the fake lines ("we fund AICTE"), as they say. I can tell you something the director is the real dictator, the faculty are the siblings. does not have its own campus they have hired a couple floors on rent in noida. And also i would like to add that they dont give any masters degree or equivalent PGDM its just a diploma (Mgnt of business finance) stay the f*** away save ur money save ur future. cheers.

IIF is one of the good colleges of Finance in India. The level of intellectual capital in this institute is better than any other college of MAT and other colleges like IBS Gurgaon or Amity or Jaipuria.

The good news regarding infra is now they have shifted to Noida Sec 83 and it is much much better place than the previous one. Moreover it has been a great year for the placements as well. 30 companies have visited with highest of 7.8 lpa and average is little more than 4.

It is not like any other college which offers Programme in finance and then places you at sales of financial products. The job is completely hardcore finance. Most of the students in the college are freshers.

I am surprised at the views mentioned here which do not speak truth. On the contrary IIF is one of the leading B-Schools in India and have adequate academic infrastructure. It is finestB-school in Finance in the country.

Friends the user that has posted this comment is of 31 years, I dont think that he is a student. He must be some person related to iif. The program introduced by iif ie PGDBF was not there in 2009, when I went for admission. When I attended one seminar there talked with the seniors they told nothing positive about this institute. If you want further information search orkut or fb for students of iif and ask them about iif and see their replies. One more thing check the address in the website and then call them and ask for the actual address of the campus aur phir aap dekhna ye kya kya bahane banate hain. Sirf campus wi fi kar dene se institute achcha nahi ho jata. This institute has no placement at all. Iske baad bhi agar koi isme admission lena chahta hai to God bless him. I can say just this. Tell me just one thing when iif had made news in India being it such a "repute institute 25 years old."

Yes, I also enquired a lot about the college & thereby I found chief drawbacks are:

STILL THERE IS A GREAT QUESTION, QUITE DOUBTFUL, WONT THIS NON-APPROVED COLLEGE PUT US IN TROUBLE WHILE BEING HIRED BY GOVT. & PSU FIRMS, AT THE END OF OUR CURRICULUM.
2. WHY IS THE NAME OF PG PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OF BF NOT MASTER OF BF WON'T IT CREATE ANY PROBLEM.
3. Though they are promising that, they are too old, but still they do not have any accommodation of their own, to provide the students as hostel; rather they are arranging Paying Guest (PG) accommodation. Not good if one pays similar accommodation expenses as in case of colleges having good hostel for students.
4. What is the guarantee that Jyoti Foundation, the managing trust of the college, will be a substitute to any approval?
5. Last but not least, the issue of manifold campus viz., one in Ashok Vihar Fully operative, but students are guided towards Noida Sec. 83 Campus, still another campus under construction in Greater Noida. Again, the noida.83 campus seems too small for an eminent college. Uhh Quite confusing.
Moreover, as per me, though the college possesses good intellectual capital, good faculties, still it can be a big risk joining it, if we concentrate on above stated facts.

Just feel to share.Neither i have applied to this institute nor any contact but receiving mail from this institute daily that i have been selected for gd/pi:o

the mail reads its superspecialisation in finance and chief recruiters include yes bank,axis,icici,bajaj alliance etc.

Indian Institute of Finance or IIF is a terrible college with very very very poor and irregular placement activites,below d par infra,the course provided by IIF is not covered under AICTE,its an autonomus college under some trust,so puys if u guys hav any other option please this college a miss its not atall worth our valuable time and sweat.

Dear parag I have some information regarding IIF. This is one of the best college in Finance. But the problem is it is not approved by AICTE and the placement is also very poor. But the quality of teaching is really good.

I have received a gdpi call letter from Indian Institute of finance(on the basis of xat scores), but I hav'nt even applied it, might have just checked the name of that insti while applying for xat. The name has weight since its an "Indian Institue" am getting little attracted. Can anyone provide some info on the insti like infra, placements, batch profile, faculty, reputation etc. And is it a govt insti? Please help with these inputs. I will be really greatfull. Students, perspective students, mods anyone?
