hi iift seniors,

had some queries while filling in the CV form. Can you please help to sort them out :

1) Is it ok if we leave a question completely blank. For e.g. I don't have anything to write for extra-curricular activities during school. So, is it fine if i leave that question as blank ?

2) for the question - describe one/two incidents in your life that radically changed your approach/outlook to life , i just cud not think of any incident that has ever happened that has changed my life ... all i can remember in this context is having watched a movie after which i started speaking truth !!! ( yes, even i laugh on myself for this :biggrin:) ... so is it fine, if i mention this funny truth of mine ?

3) Regarding the question on changes in family structure, here again, there is nothing much to write since there were no changes in my family structure ever since i was born ! Just a guess here, are they asking about change of role in the family as in, becoming more responsible since now a grown - up, etc.etc ??

4) Lastly, in the any other information section, can somebody please specify what all can be written ?

and have carried up 1/2 things as time permits
is it okay if u come out as a person who has nt been too passionate about his interests but followed them a little or it does nt convey a positive image,,

I too have a pretty similar situation. Not been very active in my college life. But one thing i have realized in the process of filling the form is, that there is no perfect answer. And instead of trying to judge how would our answers influence the panels' minds , i think its more about how well we are able to defend what we have written. So if you think those interests of yours are significant, and you might be able to convey your passion incase asked , then you are safe to write, else avoid. I was not very sure, so i haven't included that in my form.

The pages were printed back to back on A4 size sheets

Nothing unless you wish to change your Interview centre for which You have to send an application requesting for the same.

Retain a photostat of CV form for your reference

Managed to get 34.something. Maybe if I'd known there'd be no sectionals, I would've got between 38 to 40. Would still be a reject Looking back, I just didn't do as well as the paper would have demanded one to. To all of you who made it to the next round, all the very best Hope you convert it

My score is 50.08 (Gen.), got a call.

I am working in Bangalore. In the IIFT application form, I have given my test centre as Hyderabad (as I was expecting a transfer to Hyderabad by Jan, 2012). But now I want to attend the GDPI in Bangalore. Also in the mail sent by IIFT, the following is mentioned:
"Please note that you have to fill in the GD/Interview centre as you have opted in the application form. In case you wish to change your opted GD/Interview Centre, you may please attach a request application along with filled in CV form."

Can anyone please tell me the format & content of the 'request application'?

Since calls are purely written socre based and not profile based, you can remove that experience from all subsequent documents... However it will be best to send an e-mail to IIFT admissions office and notify them of this change...

1. If you are shortlisted, search for your roll# using your name from the GDPI list.
2. If you are not shortlisted, you can send an e-mail to IIFT admissions office with your name and other details and they should be able to help you.

score 43.34 (as expected) - only 57 attempts with 7-8 wrong.
I marked only 5 such questions in the paper in which I was confused between two options and got what...all the 5 wrong.

Bhai do you remember your application no by any chance? Maybe if u use chrome it might be still auto saved . Go to the iift site again and click the admission link, apply online, and then enter your application number and password. Try it This may work

If you had submitted your keys in Test Funda then i think you might get from there. Otherwise call IIFT.
