Actually ,I am working in a telecom sector for the past 3 years and want to do MBA from next academic session...
The thing is ,I can't leave delhi at all due to some personal reasons and hence targeting good colleges in Delhi/NCR..like FMS,IIFT,MDI,IITD etc.
For job stability and better work life balance(as I have other commitments too) ,I want job in PSU once I pass out from college....
So can I get good PSU placement from college like IIFT through which I can get PSU job offer in Dehi/NCR??
My query seems to be looking vague to many puys...but please reply as it is very important for me...

Few pointers-

1) Last year the list was out on 17th March, and that too unexpectedly i.e. no one who called admissions office was told that the list was gonna be out soon.
2) If it follows last year trend, it is still a week to go, so there is no reason to be so anxious about the list as of now.
3) The admissions department chairman is our international financial management faculty and he is not taking any class next week and the reason he told was that he will be busy in the next batch results.
4) Even if what the admissions department is telling all of you on call is true (which I seriously doubt), it won't make much of a difference as majority of you will be busy in attending other calls.

so please stop being so anxious and let the results be a pleasant surprise for you

Went to the campus today, they said there is a convocation on 27th Mar, so everybody is busy with that for the time being.

Reservation is as per govt norms....albeit we dont know how many in each batch are reserved people....

Yup both SIBM and SCMHRD converts

rather took admissions into SIBM Pune:o.
Now just praying that IIFT comes up with a list fast so that I dont end up paying money everywhere(SPJIMR/NM) and wait for it to get refunded forever!!
Also hope that they come up with an exhaustive waitlist and not reach candidates individually through phone or email like they did last year till may or june first week.

Possible....since most of the B-Schools (top ones) will publish the final results in April, it makes sense for them to publish the result by April First week otherwise they have to keep publishing the waitlist one after the other...huge operational burden......

If they atleast put it on their website when the list would be out, atleast it reduces the anxiety for us......Having very high hopes on IIFT final results

675 here denotes the last GMAT score till which IIFT gave a call....hopefully it ends all speculations..

That's interesting. But was there any student overlap between any of the lists? If there was, that figure won't be exactly correct.

Yes as far as I know, this info is correct. After this, till what rank people converted IIFT-K is not known as they were called via personal e-mails and calls, but it is highly improbable that the number would have gone upto 675. It might be somewhere between 430-470.

hi frnds i messaged a senior about this 675 figure...bec i too thought that this meant wait list movement...this is not wait list movement its the least gmat score till which ppl got through to iift

Last year list of 236 was released for delhi n 80 for kolkata. All these 316 people finally had a seat in iift delhi.
Then people were called n seats were filled for iift kolkata. So that means from 317 till 675
Correct me if i am wrong seniors.

The break-up of seats is indeed 160+60 for Delhi and Kolkata. The list of 236 is declared so as to accommodate some buffer calls.
