I have scored 141/400 in cmat feb 13, is there any chance of me getting admission in pgdm in IES with this score??? or i shouldnt even bother applying bcz of my low score??

hello there! I am yet to appear for my final year bcom(h) exams, and have scored 55% in the honours subjects till now, 10th-80% 12th- 90%CMAT score 147
Is my selection plausible with this academic profile?
Also another thing calcutta university is very stringent and its doifficult to score ...

College is very decent and the crowd is good too.
Placement has been good, where 80% of people getting placement through college and average package is 4-4.5 lacs.

Hi, i hv put foll choices in cap 1 and got Lala college as pref:11.. pls suggest wat coll i can xpect in cap2 as m nt taking lala.. n m gonna put only top10 coll in next round... pls advise n is it fine 2 wait till third round as m xpecting SIES or xaviers 1.JBIMS

Depends on following question:

1. Was this your best CET attempt? Do you think you can't do better in future entrance?
2. Do you want to secure admission this year only, you can't wait?

Because, after 2 years of experience I think you deserve a better college. You can try gambling in 2nd round, you could get better or below ranking college.

It's your call.

@[589086:radhika91] chances are 60% you are very near to last year cutoff seems to be ideal for u. try in second round bcoz u have met lala rizvi in your pocket

@[436532:monarque] better don't wait for cap 3 bcoz you have to take admission in any of the choice which u have mentioned in cap 2 and not eligible for cap 3 and i think everyone made ies as a option and anyone want to get admission in that so less chances.

Not possible in CAP Rounds, Try you luck in Counseling.

Sorry but IES MMS looks close to impossible with your rank/score.
Have you tried for PG courses in the likes of chetna, IES, Lala ?
FYI, cut off list of last year cap rounds for IES.
Cap 1 - 1017 (137)
Cap 2 - 1301 (134)
Cap 3 - 1485 (132)
