mumbai is competing directly with hyd..with already have achieved 100% placements. hyd has placed 670/705 batch.gurgaon is third one and catching up fast.
for the packages...well u know icfai takes bulk,so if u r in top 200-300 need not worry..u will be well placed...and with companies LIKE UBS,,pwc coming things look pretty gud.
as for the other campuses..join if its ur last resort...

well the discrepancy cud be beacuse while the website quotes CTC, here amit MIGHT be quoting the in hand package. makes loads of difference.

helllo seniors mt name is varun marwah iam a commerce graduate from delhi university and presently iam wrking with ITC and i have gt thru IBS HYD and iam all set to go for the coarse but the high fees is a matter of discussion as i have to go 4 aa loan and have too weigh my alternatives carefully as far college is concerned this one is my best option avilable and please throw some light on what all prepration we need to do befre hand to settlr in icfai eassily .......

i hav surprisingly got admission in dehradun wid 2 lakh scholarship.i m really not sure whether 2 join it or not!though i mite just pay those 40000 rs by 10 th march.because one of my exam result is coming on 10 th march n i hav an interview in iba after 15 th march.so currently dnt hav any optoin.but then i m thinking my total mba wuld cost me around 7 lakhs.n i m not sure at all abt its placments.just imagine.investing 7 lakhs in mba n getting just a max of 5 lakhs as output n tht too after 2 yrs is a bad investment. if any1 has any idea abt dehradun placments,kindly write up here! tht b greatful.

placement was fine...got over even before others started their placement process in mid nov...hostel ka not so sure we r hearing that there wd b hostel facility, but no one is committing on that,,,,still tentative..

well thats a myth. i ve got a scholarship call meaning i have ranked amg. first 60-80. they have minimum cut off marks out of 100- 50 for ibsat, 20 for presentation 20 4 intvw and rest 10 for work ex and academics. so dont worry. just prepare well.

there's no relevance of ibsat marks with call dates.....if u want u can get the date changed...but that wdnt effect the place that u get selected for..

They are sending call letters to almost all ppl who write the exam, just b'coz they are
measuring multiple parameters. entrance exam is only one of the parameters they use.

around 31000 ppl who gave the exam, they called about 27000.

well, me too got an interview call. it is scheduled on 12 th feb. i have selected sez for presentation. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT AFTER THE PRESENTATION, QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED BY THE STUDENTS(well, mba aspirants just like us), NOT TEACHERS.

which application form....do u mean to say with the resume that u wd b carrying along to the interview...?? a print out wd be fine....i dnt see any reason as to why u shd hand-write it....hv u been told to do that...???

infact u shd be writing the work profile on ur resume i suppose...

definately , transperancies r made for our ease n not for others.so that we can look few times to get d main points..but do not look more than twice or thrice st your slide and that also for main points.

congrats 2 every1 who made it 4 icfai interview.all those ppl who thinks icfai gives call to every1 r wrong.though it culd b termed true that they give calls to almost 75-80% of students.i personally know few of my friends who after getting 60% in their graduation culdnt make it for icfai.
but those who hav got interview calls for icfai shuld take it seriously.they hav presentation first n then interview.i wuld advice all of u to reach d destination by 6.30 am on ur interview date n get urslf registered.
i hav my interview on 13 th feb n i wuld b reaching there on 12 th feb.so wid those having interview on 13 th kindly msg me.institutes of icfai which r good -hyd,gurgaon,mumbai,banglore,kolkota,pune,chennai.n rest r just abt ok.fees is for sure high.
