well as far as they given in the cal letter they ve mentioned that v r not suppose to ve any kind of audio visual presentaion /just a visual presentation ................ and how ll be the selection thru to ICFAI .
and on what criteria or babsis that the dates ve been provided for the interview - in the sense even if a person has a MP and PI on last day or the last but one day will the person ve th chances to get in to HYd or mumbai ?

its a random allocation of dates ......

i have been shortlisted for ibs 1 and 2 year programmes on the basis of gmat.
i am new to the mba world and am very grateful to all the puys for their help.
i have also been shortlisted for isb and had my interview on 3rd jan.
My background:
mbbs
6 years medical experience./1 year international experience(UK)
GMAT 690
presently working in my own hospital.

I have not received the kit as yet but hope to receive it soon.

I was wondering if any of you would be kind enough to give me some input about what electives i could opt for. This is important because i will be asked "why mba?" and "why ibs?"

i got thru IBS Pune....please give me some honest feedbacks about it ....got 20 months of work ex.....so but now want to shift out of "IT"....is it gud enough for finance...
though same old questions.....campus,students,atmosphere,city....just about everything...
please it would be of tremendous helppppp!!!!!!!

Now that the selections will be over by today, i guess this in one hot topic that we Experienced people need to look into and discuss.

I believe that all people with experience have taken this step to do MBA to boost their career and will be more interested in the packages they will end up after 2 years.

So I would like all the Work Ex people to join me and post their views on the future prospects of ICFAI.

huh dude..in which world are you livin in ???..do u really have an idea...why most of the good institutes are approved by AICTE and that includes..SIBM /IIMS....cos they are not allowed to increase the no of intakes....just to earn more revenues....obviously ICFAI is increasing its no of seats every year to earn more revenues through admissions(refer that "growing alumni S>H>I>T brochure of ICFAI ").This is also the reason they have fixed the date of march 8 so that every candidate is left with no choice but deposit 80000 bucks cos no institue declares results till that time ( talkin about FORE / KJ /IMT /IMI/ etc )... just have a guess on it..this year ICFAI hyd itself is intakin about 1200+ students..i dont think so..they'd b able to place every **** and harry of their institute
