i think the collge is starting on 27th of june...and the preparatory classes start from 17th.

can anyone tell why was ibs fees last yr was 8.5 n this yr 6.if its due non ugc recognition why did that happen to mumbai.

I have a similar kind of issue, i have given the Gd & Pi for Sies, and waiting for the result, also have applied for the colleges like NL DAlmia and MET. Very confused, as the results/ Gd& Pi have not yet been even conducted for the colleges and the last date for taking the Admission in IBS mumbai is 30th as of now.

Is there any way i can contact you, and the SDS that you have been talking about in the last few threads, Do you have the contact number for the same.

never go by the placement report of any college.the opinion i expressed was on the basis of network in both the colleges as i have a few friends in there.both are good bschools but i believe if i had the choice i do go with itm nm.

i went to many nationalize banks but haven't succeeded for the loan, they told me that ibs mumbai is not ugc approved hence they r not going to senction the loan on it.

I recieved a mail that I have also been short-listed for IBS Hyd and have to give my reply till 18th.
So cud you all help me in deciding which one is better Mumbai or Hyd coz I have heard that there is not much of a difference in the placement records of the 2 campuses. However, the location of the Mumbai campus is much better than Hyd.

as of now I have no other calls, however I have applied for PGPM in SIES,MET and Dalmia but results are yet to be announced..
lets say that i dont get shortlisted in any of these colgs then IBS mumbai is preferrable no? Otherwise any of the other colgs is preferrable ..right?

m not sure abt hr in particular, but mba degrees hold a value equal to the brand value of the college. wt u learn in college depends solely on u. make ur choice carefully.
chk pg rankings n a magazine named careers 360 feb or march edition. these 2 r the only lists tht looked unbiased n non doctored to me.
if u cn post ur scores n weightage for gd pi n scores, PG will help u much btr.

However u can contact the HQ at hyderbad and discuss with them. try SDS students service dept if nothing works out. Good luck.

Hi guys, and all d best for d future. Well u guys have made a good decision choosing IBS Mumbai as it holds good placement records for the 2011. I have request that if any of u'll r planing to opt for IBS pune anytime later o no anyone joining IBS-pune, please refrain them from doing so. IBS pune is the worst college in the IBS lot to join currently as 40% of students who had been placed in the 2011 season have either left the job o have been fired. The placement team is led ny one Ashwini Sowani who is egoistic woman, and has let the batch to hell. Please make sure that none of your friends join IBS pune. The campus of 2 buildings, facing eachother on the either side of the road, the average package they boast is 4 lacs+ but it ain't true as the average comes upto 2.5lacs that pathetic from the 7.5lacs fees that students paid there and the good market condition that they have not been able to cash on. Anyways the college is good for thos interested in banking and insurance sector irrespective of the package as these are the 2 sectors that they keep getting.
Please save a soul from getting ruined in IBS pune.
