hey look as you have sound aceds you should go for bimm,scmld,if have any other sound entrance score than go for welingkar or itm but as far as jims is concerned its nice clg with good roi.its like your sms varanasi.

see you have better options.. even welingkar is considering mat score. try that as well. last date is very near. wut about christ and alliance in bengaluru. they r really good. try your best in iits and also apply in some good mat colleges by seeing above posts..

Allince Business Academy.. and it the only one that is recognized by AICTE AFAIK

BTW I got 96.26%tile in Feb 09 MAT. I am gonna apply to mainly Delhi, Bangalore and Pune (If any) Colleges.

The colleges I have shortlisted are Alliance Business Academy (1st preference)
Christ College (2nd Pref.)
IILM Greater Noida (3rd pref)
Amity Noida, Asia Pacific & may be Apeejay.

Also if anyone could provide details on ICFAI delhi it would be quite helpful

Kindly comment on the preferences I have made and suggest if any change should be made to the preference order. Moreover please also mention any colleges that I have missed out that i should apply to

Kohinoor business school is a good college but of what i hear from my friends there placements haven't gone that well.You have other options to look for:

Aicte is not a guarantee for a sound education and a job.Aicte is approved to colleges with technical courses running on campus.Some colleges have the best of infrastruture and are well know in the industry for their own brands that they have managed to create without an approval from aicte like Great lakes,IBS hyderabad,IILM,etc its not they dont get approval cos they have something lacking but because they have no technical courses running there.Also,going for the approval they will have limitations set on their student intake,course module,faculty's remuneration,their constitution etc which such good names mentioned above wouldn't liek to go for and be comfortable with.
So look at the college's infrastrutue,faculty,peer learning,industry exposure,etc to decide on a b school.Degrees dont egt you a job ,you do!

Don't be put down with the fee only as you have chances for scholarship as well.IILM is awarding scholarships to its students based on your academic qualifications too plus it has various funding options too.You can get a loan from the college itself and also have an option of paying in installments!

hey dont worry who says u don't have options...........
u can go for SMS varanasi (i don't know their cut off, but it won't be too high), it's fee is 4 lakh, a mid level college........

You cannot convert NDIM at that score anyway. Anything above 85%tile is a safe bet for NDIM, that too if you have a good GD/PI. Otherwise over 90%tile. JIMS Rohini is a good bet regards fees, but again, they have a high cutoff.

Your options are limited really, I don't know what to suggest at that kinda score. There are Bschools in bangalore like IME/IBSR which will admit you even without any admission test, but those are no good really. You could give MAT again in May & aim for a high score though most good ins. finish their admission process by mid-April max.:tellme:

My only advise to you would be to re-appear again for the tests this year, with good prep. ATB.

All these colleges are excellent value for money. Highest package for this year has been- INR 900000 , for domestic it is INR 500000. And average package has been INR 3.75 lacs .

Many of you, I presume don't either look at the websites/course content. You get a call by an institute called ins. of mktg. & mgmt. & feel it's the right choice. Go deeper dude, search for specialization specific courses on mktg. if you're passionate about this line.. Cheers.

All the above mentioned colleges provide specialization in marketing with a good track record in placements with good packages.Like IILM.whose highest package has been 9 lakhs this year in such times.

Yup. I know it's a pain, but if you want something, you need to search & sweat on your own too dude.

As regards NDIM, I personally would not recommend it. The strong point they have is mktg. I suggest you go for PI, & talk to some students there about placement prospects in this field from NDIM. A combo of mktg.+fin would be my choice from here.
