Hi All ,

This is Abhijit. I took DECEMBER MAT and got 637 composite score and got 81 %ile. I have applied to the B Schools listed below.

1. Asia Pacific Institute of Management , New Delhi.
2. NIILM-CMS, New Delhi.
3. International School of Business and Media. (ISBM, I have applied to Kolkata ISBM not to Pune. )
4. Kohinoor Business School, Khandala, Mumbai.

I have received call letters for GD/PI from all the above mentioned colleges except Kohinoor.
Now I am very confused what should be my importance or preference list. I mean what college I should consider first and what second so on. .

Guys please help I am very confused. Please help..

I am a Career Launcher student . I have applied for both the institutes 1. Asia Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi.
2. NIILM Centre for Management Studies , Badarpur , New Delhi.

Now whatever I am telling u is the information given to me from Career Launcher. According to them both are good Colleges. But the Kolkata faculty personally gave importance to NIILM CMS.

n by d way..i hv already posted abt IIF..it is not worth...u may check thru previous posts...i hv had a lot of discussion in dis regard wid PGites..
n congrats 4 clearing IILM gurgaon..it is the best among the colleges u r asking 4..n remember this my personal opinion..

this year ims has increased fee to 8.20 lacs . its not at all worth joining. infrastructure is very very poor, dunno on what basis have they increased fee. they cant even arrange for proper summer internship..!

It is that time of othe year wherein every person who has taken up Entrance tests like CAT/MAT etc. will be looking for the best B-Schools that their scores/ profiles can get them, and that too as soon as possible.

Amity is among the top 10 mat allied institute.
infrastructure is good, dont know much about placements scenario because every insti is effected with recession problem.

Sapan, it's like this. Most MAT institutes are similar in placements (Our most imp. objective after 2 years). As a fresher, the ROI you can expect may range b/t 30-50% after 2 years. It's not 100% or more, as you would expect from tier 1 & 2 ins. Inspite of doing a lotta research, I've arrived at this conclusion that you would be getting similar profiles/emoluments/cos visiting campus after 2 years. Go through the previous pages on this thread, & check on some of the most popular MAT ins. already discussed. You can consider applying to those. As I say, once you get admission & finally join any MAT ins., then only you will realize what I really mean.

Check eligibility criteria for Alliance from their website, I think they want 60%, first div. throughout in academics. Since you're already earning that much, don't expect a quantum jump from any MAT ins. after 2 years.

Dude, with that CAT score, you won't get anywhere. Try for MAT colleges, you can convert with MAT score. Otherwise, try again this year end for CAT.

with that score in cat you can go for kirloskar
and in mat try iilm , christ and , Ndims

Is it true that Kirlosker would call you on score in CAT 64 %ile?? My details are as follow:

QA : 62 %ile
LR/DI: 38 %ile
VA/RC: 75%ile

Sure it does but when you have better options against it ,you should consider that.
It was my opinion abt the college you're most welcome to do your research and do what best suits you!
