GD - 13 ppl

weird structure each of the 13 get 1 min opening statements then after all that its thrown open to a GD- 20 mins is my guess

where topic given . Appointments to high posts are political

pity the guy who had to start he had only a min. my turn was no 8...said that wherever there is democracy there will be political appointments be it india or usa...pointed out Dr Radhakrishan collector of kumbakkonam transferred to nagappatinam after the tsunami and Vijaykumar Chennai city commissioner transferred to catch Veerapan...both were political appointments but did a very good job...then said when there is arbitrariness over other ppls head then u will have problems like the recent controversy over appointments of air marshal in the IAF...beep !!

GD opens...absolute fish market...now the opening statements made sense..only moments of sanity in that room....opened my mouth twice...once when someone said arbitrary appointments arent made in pvt sector, pointed out that over 10 partners of Ernst and Young had quit recently over such appointments...then also someone said about politics in govt enterprises said tht office politics are very much prevalent in pvt sector too!

So much for my star performance in GD...if it were in TISS have a feeling the entire grp wudve been thrown out. funny thing was a chottu sitting next to me who was flailing his hands all over me! [i was like maine ek baar bhi aise kiya tho NDMC wud have to scrape ur squashed remains from that chair!!] the guy sittin on the other side was apna jumbo1511 from PG...didnt realise that till after my PI!!

hi folks!!...had my GD PI for MHROD..@ 3:00..GD actually started at 3:45 ven they made us wait in the lawn..in the heat..wherein we al were asked to fill up the info form..after that we were guided to the GD room...as already mentioned earlier..the seating arrangement was very uncomfortable...10 sittin straight in a line with the fst n 12th on the smaller sides of the rectangular table...

the topic : should the electorate hv the rt to recall the representative.

instructions were given b4 the commencement of the gd...2 oldies were there to conduct it..
topic was chosen n we were given 1 min to think followed by each 1 sharin his/her view on it for a min again b4 the 10 min GD was opened!!...

two intervw panels were there...i ws sched 4 second 1....bt since that was takin lot of time wid each student n it was gettin late....so finally (actually luckily) we were slotted for the panel 1.....

ques were pretty general....nuthin much on acads.....

Both MIB & MHROD had their diff GD/PI.

GD was decent enough but the sitting arrangement was PATHETIC. all 12 sitting in a line. God knows how the eye contact was made.

GD PROCESS(12 students)
->intro 4 each
->1 person wld select the topic 4m no of chits.
->a min gvn 2 think followed by each's opinion
->another min 2 think
->discussion starts.....(for 10 min)
->summary by any 2

in all it took 15 min. as said, a decent discussion but again pathetic seating.

PI(max 10 min)
every1 had gr8 exp except me. they grilled me on only on my acads & that even on my worst subject.all blank & gone.

in fact panel was more interested 2 know what we had in lunch and 4m where. so dont 4get 2 hv a good lunch, if u r in the afternoon batch.

anywayz guys, on the whole the process was good 1 , only a stretched coz of lunch break which exhausted every1, even the panel .... i am sure.
so DONT worry, just CHILLAX & all the v.best

hey guys when re we expected to get our call letters or is it possible to know our particular GD/PI dates? just so as to make travel arrangements at least?

I guess the cuts offs wud have been around 480+ in case u have an edge of workex of more than one year and may be around 500 in case u are a fresher.. and the differnece is just marginal..but was surprising not to see my name even thogh have a work ex of 1 yr and was expecting a score of around 520+ but again wasnt in the destiny.....

any idea abt the placement in dse .do all the syudents get placed .i have my doubt on that.....

placements is 100% but the pay is suspect...avg of only around 3 or 3.5 and high of 6....i ve not come across any alumni of of the HR prog...but MIB recruiters list is a must read...www.mibdu.org so to corp interaction and ull find the list!

i attempted 161Qs... 10 guesses in GK...no risks in quants...verbal was decent...

im expecting an 80% accuracy rate or maybe 75%....so net score shudve been anywhere between 440-485...if it makes any diff almost 3 yrs work ex

dude u still can get hyd centre ..mail them , if any of the people leave hyd center then u are sure to get hyd as u already have gurgaon .
