Here are some inputs of my profile..
X=79.4% (C.B.S.E)
XII=81.8%(C.B.S.E)
B.Tech=79.2% (EEE) VIT University
I have a work Experience of 15 months with HCL as a hardware engineer (electronics domain).
I saw in website that Christ is considering september mat score and with my percentile will i be able to fetch a call for GD and PI?

Yes the micropresentation topics are given beforehand. 90secs was the time limit and one of the 50 topics would be given to talk about...

finance is good or marketing? which has more future n placements?

There is no good or bad with specializations Go with what you are good at! Don't look at placements as the ONLY criteria... Also you get to choose your specialization by end of Ist year, so if you are confused, you will get time and teachers will do counseling! ATB!

Christ never promises 100% placements nor it does any advertisements. But good companies always come for intake. So don't worry about placements... HR is there only in the Kormangala campus as of now and an excellent team of faculties handle the specialization.

Just now, last week Tally came for placements and picked up 3 marketing people for 8-10 lac each. Few glimpses of Highest Packages Offered (in Rs) p.a. in 2010-11(not fully updated)

1) Futures First: Rs 9.2 L pa
2) Tally Solutions: Rs 7.5 L pa
3) Citigroup: Rs 6.5 L pa
4) Oracle: Rs 5.5 L
5) Deloitte: Rs 4.2 L

our seniors are in the middle of placements... so i cant tell u the exact stats as it will take time... last year's avg pkg was 5-5.5 p.a and HR was pretty OK.... dont worry about placements, concentrate on your colleges, where you want to get in...

Its a deemed to be University under Section 3 UGC Act 1956... so it has a university status... AICTE does not come in the picture! ATB!
