i hv dne sum research with seniors of bimm nd wut i'v heard is that it is at par wid christ (though my mentor in ims has rated christ 2 be a better option).. placements r d same as christ.. i.e arnd 4-5 lacks.. the dis-advantages is (if compared 2 christ)--
--> ROI (the fee is increased to 6 lacks for 2 yrs)
--> a veryy strict schedule (which sumtymes gt onto ur nerves).
--> no holidays (infact no medicals..)
--> nd there was a recent news in times of india about the director of balaji society.. m giving u the link.. go thru it..

I dont know ab bimm..bt as far kengeri is cocerned, the placements for both city nd kengeri campus will be same...so the issue regrding the placements is over..chk evthing with bimm...their placements nd life..and come back to me..

thnx saurav,well bimm was formely iimm,pune and its avg. package is around 4-5 lack.. fee is 6 lack (they increased one lack this yr).. they r VERYYY STRICTTT in terms of discipline (many seniors hv termed it as jail..) every month parents have to visit the collg for the interaction.. nw u cn urself judge it out.. life is FULL OF STRESS..

(P.S- i personally wanna gt in2 christ bt m just worried dat if there is ny bias b/wn main nd kengeri campus regarding placements nd opportunities.. nd will the university affliation stuff gnna effect the popularity/credibility of christ ??)

plz go thru old posts already 3 guyz revoked their admission and they got refund of 2.49 lakh rupees and according to 1 puy it took 3/4 days to complete total process but it is always better to make a call before going to christ just to save time and regarding finance qn i think if ur frnd has gone thru main campus general mba as its the flagship course of christ then he should give preference to christ neway its entirely my opinion hopefully regarding he will not face ne probz

Marketing has got good status here..very high prob of getting a job for marketing guys here compared to any other sp..

I am highly confused about the task given to the people who are selected for MBA.. We need to undergo a 30 days intership in a manufacturing company just to get an overview of the company and get as many data and statistics about the company ..

I want to know whether this internship carries any marks because i do not have time of 30 days as my engineering will complete only in the mid of may and and the session is starting on 4th june.

You can start collecting the info when u r done with engg..not necessarily it should be of 30 days, but u'll need to show ur report here as wt u did and undrstand frm there..

no u need not go to the company for 30 days...a couple of days should suffice.. just collect the info required in those couple of days

well, i would not say anyhting on this deemed fiasco but just one thing, we the students r positive here. and believe me nobody exactly knows wats happening!

placemets for my seniors will be over next month..its approx 65-70%..avg being 4 lacs

Summers rnt tht gr8 here..but things r not bad..and for PPO it solely depends on the company..some of my seniors got tht but its vry less..

Guys..there are so many confusions regarding the exact batch size...well to clarify all i checked with the V-Chancellor at the tym of admission..he confirmed the entire INtake of MBA 2010-2012 IS 660....Guys thats it...thats the official figure.

and as far d new rules we can come 2 two know dat ne clg must have A+ RANKING by NAAC/ ne odr accredation agency now christ is already an A+ insti by NAAC
and secondly ne clg has to b under 15 years of ne established uni
and christ was under bangalore university for 39 years (69-0
so hopefully we can keep our fingers crossed regarding d verdict

guyz regarding deemed uni status go thru dis report which was published in the telegraph yesterday basically it ias a set of guidelines which will b followed frm mow to give any clg deemed status

Well in my opinion, you should decide on the course that you wish to pursue.... masters in social work or an mba... since you have not got an mba in tiss, you should not get your refund done in haste....

I think he means the papers which the mentor gave, the fee receipt, and the organisation study introduction letter..

that it is a 3 day procedure and gave me three forms to fill in whch it was written that "i wish to cancel my admsn at my own risk" bla bla bla.I signed them up and handed it ovr to him.After 15 mins,he came back with a receipt frm an authorized person stating that "deduct RS 1000 and refund."He gave me the slip along with my original docs that were with them.I was then askd to go to the accounts deptt. in the 2nd floor of the same building and submit the slip.I did so and they asked me to come for the cheques after two days.The accounts deptt guys were really soft.After two days i calle dthem up and they askd me to come dwn aftr 2 pm.I went and they handed me over two cheques,one amounting RS 174000 and another Rs 75000.I wished them and moved out.
So,in all,the process was smootha nd hassle free.
I hope I have answered all ur queries regarding refunds...and n more rumours please!!!
