Hi ! nice to see u back!I am in a big problem .I got a satisfactory score in mumbai cet and have a good chance of getting into pgdm if sies too!I got selected fro kengeri campus and have to make payment by 9th. But the results of sies and mhcet will not come by then. I wanted to opt for hr in main campus at christ but did not get it. I am ready to pay money in kengeri but if i get a call from sies i want the refund cause 2.5 is a big amount and in sies i ll get whichever fiels i want and close to my house. can u please tell if refund is possible by giving any reason or some way out ?? please i have to make a decision today!

Thats why they say be yourself but always have that humility for others..nobody's perfect at the end of the day. period. you know you stand a chance but don't show it too much and make it evident and mess it up for yourself. In fact when you see others or hear them speak you can just know eventually where you stand and that boosts your confidence or shatters it, either ways all you must focus on is yourself and give it your best. don't bother about anything else. Let by gones be by gones.

Never know maybe there's something better in store. one's loss is another's gain. So your loss is someone's gain. What one must realize here is where you made a mistake and next time try not to repeat it again. I too had applied for christ in the first round of admissions, when i saw my own academic co-ordinator ( she was for a year in my 3 years at christ) it boosted my confidence and i was lucky to get the topic i could speak on, i spoke fine and had managed to clear the GD. but i got over confident in PI and i was well, screwed to say the least & i knew as soon as i walked out of that PI that i would not get through, and i didn't !

though i agree 2 u abu hvin some preferences for christians but der also high level of politics is played .my mat % is 94.21 , n m a CHRISTIAN but stil i didn get through...........d gal sittin beside was al shoutin n nt lettin others speak . after d gd wen d judgin faculty asked 2 of d candidates 2 share der opinions, she started arguin wid dem also !!!!!!! n kno wat she was selected for pi as i later checked ....i think watever dis so-called christian quota is ......it either is used for donations (else obviously i wld hv gotten through) or it is specifically region-biased .

this is ravi from lucknow,I got a gd call from christ on 27th march,I was in group G-9,my micropresentation was the best among all the 9 aspirants of my group,I gave the introduction of the gd and conclusion too,gd was good,that day I was hoping that I will definitely get a call but unfortunately I didn't got selected,after the gd when i was coming out from christ college two of aspirants were talking about the admission procedure that 80% of the seats are reserved for christians and all the remaining seats are already full,the selection procedure is totally fake only for the sake of selling of admission forms for which the college gets 1100 bugs per head,throughout my gd the faculty who was judging my group was not intrested in watching our gd attentively,I am feeling a kind of unjustice.

Let me share my experience...i was in G9 slot 2.30 on 27 march...during the presentation i just spoke for 1 min and i more girl finished her presentation within given time and rest everyone exceeds the time limit and also one of the guy kept his hand in his pocket while giving presentation ....during GD also people were not giving attention to their body language ...smiling on others ...interrupting in between. So it shows that moderators were noticing each and every point wht a person is doing while interacting with others ...so finally along with me 1 girl was selected out of 10 . So everything was fair and till now i havent met any christian who got selected in christ...

join this community in orkut . .this is exclusiverly for al joining christ kengeri campus 2010-2012 batch ......so other university and main campus ppl never messes up in our discussion ...

have u taken admission yet?if yes den u can recall we have to sign few papers and thr was condn stating until and unless we are submitting originals no fee refund is possible so if thr is a term den they are bound to return our fees just remind them about this clause and ithink it would b wise to take ur parents thr it may help u

Yes but u shd go wid ADMISSION LETTER of the clg where u got selected.. i'm nt sure abt da time period in which dey will return... but within a week i guess...

msrim, rims, msras....Out of all these ramaiah institutes, only msrim is gud...dnt go for RIMS, it is not at all gud....wait for CHRIST..even, if u hvnt got selected in christ, den try for another college vjim r vvism but try to avoid RIMS...

the process was as fair as it could get...gd is not about makin a conclusion its abt sharing relevant ideas...all colleges follow this procedure...so theres not much 2 complain about...and as far as i know most of us selected so far are non christains

let's come to GD, the main part...
I haven't started nd i havent concluded nd ofcourse, i hvnt got enuf chance evn to speak...!it was like full of fish market..four gus were fighting with each other..i managed to grab chance twice nd i added only two points(one point each time)..that's all...i was bit sceptic whether i will be selected r not..nd guys guess wt..i am the only one got selected out of the whole group(i verified the other guys number series wn they called for PI)...nd one more thing...i am not a christian..
so, this clearly states that.they wont consider, hw much u spoke..they juz consider hw many valid points u spoke..(no offence) nd one more thing, i dnt think they gv more(may be little) preference to chiristians(it is not mentioned anywhere in their website)..bocz i met something around 50 to 60 guys thru diffrent communites (orkut, fb etc..,) who got selected in christ..out of those max. r non-chirstians..

so, nw its up to u to find out that where it went wrong....!

P.S:- I hv mentioned my exp. juz bcoz to advice PUYS to not get carried away with the rumours..but not to offend anyone..

i second u mate even i am non christan and blv me on d day of admission i met many non christan guyz rather max of them were non christans
so may b dats an isolated incident but dont generalize it

d one thing i don lik abu christ college is d process of usin only gd n presentation for selection is nt gd . i feel dey should also include pi alogwid gd n pre. i think it wil lessen d chances of changin gds into fish market !!!!!
i had gd n every one was tryin make others agree n nt allowin others 2 speak !!!!!

i also got kengeri campus.i talked 2 receptionist n he told me that there is no such provision regarding refunding d fees...so guys be of one mind (that u wanna christ or not bcoz ur future as well as ur money is on stack) ......

Well..i dont think staying in a pg near main campus is a gud idea if u hv got selected in kengeri campus...bcoz it is around 30 kms distance frm the main campus. instead of that, u can rent a flat in kengeri itself...they r not even expensive, if u r ready to share it with others...nd ofcourse, there r lot of people who hv already rented flats(seniors nd freshers) in that area, for more info...u can chk the orkut community for kengeri campus...here is the link...

Bro..i spke wt one of the persons thr in the office..i hv gt the cntacts and wl b goin on the 7th of april to pay my fees thr..i hv decided to join a PG whch is pretty nea the campus..jst two bus stoppages..i calculated tat v'll lose sum 4 hrs evryday roughly if v commite usng the bus service nd stay in the cty..its u 2 decide..I prefer stdyin or sleepin in the tym tat involves so mch trouble 4 no value..ATB

Same case wid me ...me too waitin for the cet results.
I visited the campus myself. The infrastructure was gud enough. I also had an interaction wid the administrator there ,he once again assured me of common placements with the main campus.
I also had a chat with the Director Father Thomas who was at the campus, he informed me that the entire administrative setup of management department is common for both the campuses and even some faculty members are common.
However no hostels are available as of now, so they said most of the students live in rented accommodation in the kengeri town some 7-8 kms away. No idea abt food n other stuff.

As far as refund rules are concerned I read somewhere in thr website about AICTE approval so i guess they will refund the fee but be prepared to fight hard for it :-o

Although i have a final call from IILM-GSM but considering that Christ is probably the best college in MAT I am thinking about joining it.

Its arnd 5 kms away frm Kengeri Commercial Area.... One can find cheap and good accomodations there.... And u will get everything dere... so don't worry... regarding food, i admit that its nt dat tasty but its upto one's choice whether one is lkin 4 TASTY SNACKS or GOOD EDUCATION.... Also one must keep in mind that if one wants to enjoy city life, den its nt da place to be... but rest u can be assured... be it faculty, academics and infrastructure......

that is a bit rude on ur part. i was not talking about TASTY SNACKS as u put it. but for vegetarians, what they have in their convent hostel is plain rice without any vegetable or pulses. I dont think any human being can survive on just that for 2 yrs. and about good accomodation, they themselves said that kengeri is not safe for girls living in PGs. Please dont misguide others if u dont know the clear picture. And it is exactly 8 kms, not 5, if u go by the auto u can measure it. So now the choice is SAFETY or EDUCATION or SAFETY WITH EDUCATION. for those who want the latter, i wud suggest for staying in the city and using the bus service.
