CHETANA COLLEGE IS GOOD OR MET COLLEGE FOR MMS??

I am intrested in CHETnA for 2013 batch but der is no notification of addmission procedure for this year on website.....Any body have any idea abt it.........

is chetna college good & decently recognized for hr. wat is the max salary package dat can be expected?????plz rplz...urgnt

guys iam confused please tell me the programme which is offered in chetna is mms or pgdm ? i can see only mms on the website and when can i register for the same ??

@[609000:sunilsm] it depends on ur score buddy. if u have a decent score that would have fetched u dat college in cap 3, then dey wouldn't ask 4 any donation. thats how i read der process. coz i met a guy who scored 103 and dey had called him to secure admission by paying a heavy amount. wats ur score btw??

@[552685:S2] even i find it hard 2 believe how it could end @ 129. if i m not wrong, cap 3 went 2 as low as 110. they r totally into donations. met is way better in that sense. they didn't ask me 4 any extra amount.

129 is impossible.. cutoff for chetna in capround 2 itself was 127, thn how cum last person in 24 Institute level seats can go for 129..

I got a call from MET for Institute level seats and they told me to meet a person there. Can anybody confirm what is their process exactly? Are they taking donations or something? Thanks

@[552685:S2] regarding d refund, u r right. it should b d way u have explained, however, i inquired with d management of ies. they said that if i cancel my admission b4 25th, they will just deduct 1000 and refund me the remaining amount. after that date, i wouldn't get any refund. this is irrespective of whether or not d seat gets filled. i guess ies is acting very generous with respect to d cancellation of admissions.

regarding chetna ils, have some bad news. i called them this evening and a female told me dat all ils seats r full. the last person who got thru had a score of 129. finding it hard 2 believe...

@[552685:S2] thanks a lot 4 d detailed info :). a few queries, 4 me 2 get a refund, should my vacant seat b filled before d 20th (the cut-off date of admissions) or can it b filled after that date as well?

also, do u think met nd chetna r better colleges than ies? from wat ive heard, d batch size in des colleges is very huge as compared 2 ies, which means it would b dat much more difficult 2 get placed in a decent company. as far as avg package is concerned, its more or less d same in all 3 colleges. den why r these colleges preferred ovr ies? also, between chetna nd met, which 1 would u prefer nd why?

pls don't mind me asking so many questions. its just dat i dont have proper knowledge about which 1 is better, hence am a bit confused.

@[581687:geniusdhruv90] am a bit confused whether to cancel or not. am very impressed with ies. d faculty r awesome, teaching is amazing, peer group r so helpful n down 2 earth. even d director nd teachers send us mails 4 additional help. a very simple college.. no flamboyance.

with dat being said, the reputation of met and roi of chetna r worth giving a thought. will meet the person in charge of ils in met tomorrow and let u know if things work out well.

@[552685:S2] thnks 4 d wishes. m a bit apprehensive if theyl refund me anything if i cancel my admission so late. read d cancellation rules in d dte brochure 2day. it says that d college will refund an amt on pro-rata basis only if they find a replacement to my vacant seat by the 20th. damn..wondering why dis ils stuff happens so late...

yeah,, yesterday i was informed tht no list would be uploaded on site or notice board. if any1 gets selected,, they would get a call frm chetna ( didnt sound too great )
