m having cast certi , i want to take admission in mba for next year , but i dont have my caste validity ,as i am passout student , they are not allow me to apply for an cast validty , so do i get admission by showing my cast certi and can apply from that respected coll for cast validity .. plz frnds do help me i am very much distrubed plz plz ...

UPDATE FROM MANTRALAYA

Candidates who are claiming reservation for the MMS/MCA CET 2012 have a reason to rejoice! After 3 months, our efforts have finally yielded fruition. The new notification is finally out and we have to follow the same process that was followed last year. My friend above has even attached the hamipatra in the required format.

I personally want to thank each and everyone of you who went to Mantralaya and made this possible. Making the Government change a flawed rule is not an easy task and I cannot thank you enough.

my frnd says its at chembur but according to dad it is at konkan bhavan
I stay at andheri.
please let me know whether is it still at chembur?? (cz tht is little nearer to my place)

you require to submit non creamy layer valid upto 31 march 2013 and caste ceritificate. deadline for submission is 31 may otherwise you will be consider as open candidate. caste validity can be submit later after taking admission

I talked to an officer of DTE on 022-30233469. He said not to worry about the issue of Caste Validity Certificate as they will be accepting a declaration same as previous year. We will need to submit the Certificate within 3 months. The official announcement will be done when the document verification starts. :)

UPDATES FROM MANTRALAYA

My friend had visited Mantralaya and as per recent updates, the decision is bound to come in our favor. Here is what happened

1) File 325 received clearance from the Social Justice Dept. (Samajik Nyay). Mr Tayade, the honorable Dy. Secretary has signed.

2) Mr B.S. Waghmare (Under Secretary, Technical Education) has assured us that our file now only needs the signature of Joint Director Mr Tope to proceed. Since "Adiveshan" is currently going on (I have no clue what that is), he will do the needful on Monday 23/4/2012.

Once this signature is received, DTE will be informed. From what I can understand, we will only be required to submit Proforma H at the time of admission and procure the Caste Validity Certificate in a period of approx. 3 months

I will again visit Mantralaya and not rest till this news is confirmed.

so we dont need to submit it till 30th may with other doc's verification?

i think u have to get non creamy layer you can obtain that certficate if you isuue income certificate and on that basis u can also get non creamy layer as i know.

in case of cast validty certificate any1 is there who dont have that certificate konkan bhavan people say we need letter from college but as i am already passed out i cant get any letter is there any provision form or anything any1 hv any idea???? please some help.

I had visited Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Chembur on 16th April,2012. They said process takes around 180 days. How can we give declaration to submit it within 3 months. And even if we give declaration of 3 months, college will keep asking us for caste validity certificate after 3 months & may cancel admission if same is being mentioned in declaration.

but there may be many more students suffering through thisthan we actually we know both in MBA and MCA, this number can be around 2000-3000 almost or approx.
if this situation of our's is published in paper then there will be a little bit more pressure and many more will join us.

Update 2 from Mantralaya

I visited Mantralaya (AGAIN, 4th trip!!!) on 11th of April. The following situation exists

1) DTE and Samajik Nyan i.e. Dept of Social Welfare had a meeting and apparently have considered re introducing Proforma H

HOWEVER!!!
There is some File No. 325 that needs to run through various departments. The signature of various authorities need to come before the decision is arrived. These Mantralaya people have numerous excuses ready. The way I see it, not much will be done unless many people visit Mantralaya and meet

2) Mr B.S. Tayade (Dy. Secretary Samajik Nyan i.e. Dept of Social Welfare)

I am fighting a losing battle by traveling alone. I need your support. I request everyone to either accompany me or individually visit these departments and seek an explanation into the matter.

UPDATE FROM MANTRALAYA

I visited the Social Justice Dept. and I was told by Mr. Tayade (deputy secretary) that there would be a meeting on the 4th i.e. today to take care of the issue

He hinted at Proforma H getting recalled. I also visited the DTE office and they too hinted at this possibility. Lets see what follows.

I have also returned empty-handed from caste validity office in Pune. But I was told that there is no govt. GR published regarding this new rule. Believe me,this new rule is null and void without govt. GR.This rule is likely to be cancelled as it clashes with other rule of the govt. which states that the certificate is issued only for those students who are pursuing professional courses (i.e engineering, medical or mgmt.) that too only on presenting the college recommendation letter. Pls wait till the documents verification stage of the exam as most of the students will protest against this rule only at that time.
P.S This info. is based on my personal experience and knowledge only.
