See, what ever has been said are the facts and not a bit for false information has been given in my posts. The PAT team are a bunch of people who I appreciate and they deserve to get multiple offers for the work they do.

You being in the so called corporate sector should know that "RESULTS COUNT, NOT THE EFFORTS." We still have more than 300 unplaced and the 4th semester exams are supposed to start in 20 days.

Also the average package is close to 4.8 now will about 400 students unplaced. When we have 100% placements the average is bound to fall further.

Neeraj Kukreja being in the placement team of BIMM should be able to attest to the fact.

It is an accepted fact that companies coming to SBS campus offer a lower package than when they go to other comparable institutes (Not the one across the street).

Students in SBS who are not a member of the placement team are not allowed to sit for placements if they already have an offer. So Abhishek if you have multiple offers that is against the rules and you have to take the offer that you received first. You do not get to choose. If you did get to choose, you will be opening a big giant can of worms for the placement team.

Why dont you talk about the fully air conditioned Mess which is catering about 1000 people per day with hygiene food. To be honest you wrote some true stuffs but you putted dem in a wrong way.

1) Cafeteria was there initially in the BIIB building few years back in verandah but later it was shifted near SBS lawn.

2) Our Chairman got a pending case against him but he is not been convicted in that and we are hopeful that he will come out clean.

3) Regarding AICTE aprroval lemme give you a current and 100% true fact and that is AICTE officials are coming to SBS for an inspection along with other government officers and by 12th of April final decision regarding it will be coming up

4) You are talking about AICTE for so long and lemme make you clear one fact that SBS became AICTE approved few years back only and before that it was not AICTE approved college and lemme tell you that till that time also SBS was known for its class placements and you can see the alumni network now of SBS.

5) SOmebody talked about placements here that SBS is giving low placements now.Buddy you can have all time to collect facts and figures of placement for SBS of this year but you forgot to read the news that how market has struggled this year and it gone miserably down.Even IIMs also affected by it.SBS is not an IIM but if IIM and other top 20 b skols struggled then SBS is no more different.

6) Average package is still around 4.8 lacs as now people are getting nice packages after market has improved and every alternate day 4-5 students are getting placed.

7) I do agree SBS follow a very strict routine and its sometimes irritating but thats PG all about my friend.Feel the pain of MBA or do normal and ordinary MA. Tc

So, if you think so much for the college, why not answer my these questions rather than trying to attack me personally:

Q) How does the college justify the average package hovering around 4 lacs for the past 4 batches while the fees are constantly climbing up

Q) Why is the college getting companies that will pay 3 lacs in placements after charging 6 lacs as fees

Q) How does the college justify its USP of " Extensive Classroom Training" when the demand for management education and MBA's are going Down.

Q) What is the justification behind forcing students to sit for placements in companies and profiles they are absolutely not interested in. (Tele-caller profiles for an MBA, Seriously?)

A) so has been the total number of students placed and the highest packages are increasing. students are getting mulitple offers infact (talking about non PAT members like me!!) and dear dont create a hype, avg as on date is 4.8 for entire sbs and not 4!!!

A) There were companies who were offering 6lacs, 6.5 lacs also 10 lacs, then why only few students get placed?? those who are yet to be placed or who got less package (if 3-4 lacs is a less package in a TATA sons' company ). at the end dear it depends on the students like us and not the college for placement. bala sir cant do anything in GD-PI room

A) If the education system like ones used in our graduations were so effective I personaly would never have done MBA. 9m-1pm, thats the avg college ours in non proffesional courses. and hence no quality jobs. to bring you out of that 'commerce college comfort zone' this is must. and guess what everybody is doing in now!! ( I dont want to name those colleges but they are across the street in from of SBS )

You are making a good decision, you will be interested to know that the PSU came for the batch of 2010-12 which was AICTE approved. It is the 2011-13 batch that has lost the approval...

So no PSU's next year, unless Bala Sir can bully the Supreme Court too with his military discipline.

Your chances are pretty strong. the following two things will help:

1. Give a good GD
   
2. You should be able to justify your experience in the interview bcoz thats where it is evaluated

yes i get your delima here. and its very genuine. but thats the time when we conduct our admission process. if you are adamnt for balaji and dnt wana take rise. you can make the token payment in the preffered college you like and if you get thru balaji you can take the refund from that college if they have the refund policy. at the end of the day you have to take the chances and risk.
a tip from my side, on deciding what college to join, set your own ranking of colleges and then decide on what is in your hand.

F.Y.I: the matter is in supreme court. already mumbai high court has ordered AICTE to grant SBS the approval and accreditation. and we are sure that Supreme court will also follow the lines of high court. anyways. there are many aicte approved colleges in NCR and pune region but PSU dont visit them. whereas there are more than dozen PSU already visited out campus. good that you decided. i know m eligible. .but my query is, by when ud the gdpi happen ? it says just APRIL..
many other colgs are having last dates of payment in paril.. if results r in may.. many of us wont be able to wait till then..

yes i get your delima here. and its very genuine. but thats the time when we conduct our admission process. if you are adamnt for balaji and dnt wana take rise. you can make the token payment in the preffered college you like and if you get thru balaji you can take the refund from that college if they have the refund policy. at the end of the day you have to take the chances and risk.
a tip from my side, on deciding what college to join, set your own ranking of colleges and then decide on what is in your hand.

as such there is no core mba here. the default specalization here is marketing by PGDM and not MBA. please make note of that.

F.Y.I: the matter is in supreme court. already mumbai high court has ordered AICTE to grant SBS the approval and accreditation. and we are sure that Supreme court will also follow the lines of high court. anyways. there are many aicte approved colleges in NCR and pune region but PSU dont visit them. whereas there are more than dozen PSU already visited out campus. good that you decided. Guys.. I am an alumini of BIMM who is looking at a scam known as SBS were it is nothing but a money making racket. The college and its well wishers will give you loads of data about the strengths of the college, but as we have learnt the hard way. They are actually the weaknesses that will be a stumbling block on your career.

The college has thousand students.. So you have to compete against 100 people instead of the usual 180 or 240. Their USP of classes every day and "Extensive Classroom Training " is a sham. Its like promising you to make a fighter pilot by playing Microsoft Flight Simulators. After the excitement wears off all of you will be sleeping through the exceedingly boring lecture, with few exceptions.

The methodology and the course-ware would have been state of the art in 1990's but not at the current scenario. When we go to companies to present our college they are surprised and equally disgusted with the "No Holidays" policy. According to them they would rather hire robots than students from our college. And that's the reason the packages offered to students are low.

Though I am not against low packages and I strongly believe that you get what you deserve, I still believe that a honorable system will be able ashamed to charge more fees than the average package a student gets in the college.

And from now on the average package will continue to slide and will eventually settle at somewhere between 4-4.2 LPA, unchanged from the previous 4 years. and this is really helped by the top 100 students getting great packages, over 6.5 LPA.. So god forbid if you are in the bottom 900..

Abhishek, who else other than you will know the truth about the placements in BIMM.. But guys remember, the companies that are coming in now are giving pay packages between 3-4 lakhs PA... Please meet another awakened soul. Let me not answer him/her but show you some interesting things from his posts. This awakened soul claiming to be an alumni felt like saving careers suddenly at this admission season and no the last one or maybe the one before that depending on when he/she took admission. I remember dreaming big when I saw my seniors get placed, so this person may also have seen the "pathetic" placements of his/her seniors.
As of now 7 post all focussed at 1 goal: making people aware about the SBS scam.
Buddy an advise, if you are doing negative marketing I can say for sure you must have had a lot of backlogs as your concepts are all over the place. Please do not waste your and other people's times with useless long posts . You still need to learn a lot in marketing, negative marketing would come a lot later!!:nono::nono::nono:

GDPI stands for the 70% weightage..so if you perform better then your group..then you may get BIMM.
