Can some one please look at the below scenario and reply why i am not selected

Mine
Snap score 83.25
Xth 76
XII 70
B.E. 66
And extra cirrucilar activities


and my room mate

Snap 74
Xth 82
XII 78
B.e. 81 NIt Jalandhar


and one of his friend got call at 73 he is also from REC can any one tell me that if REC is the only reason so why not Tell it and tell me the breakeage so That I should not wasted my 1200 Rs and so other of my friend .

I totally empathise with ppl who feel they have been short changed by SCMHRD but puys come on .. this is nt the end of it.... U hv SIBM which doesnt take profiles into consideration so a lot of vagueness is taken out of the equation. Whatever u did in SNAP is all that matters doesnt it....

Besides, when we talk about profile based calls we cannot merely dismiss someone's profile bcoz of a lower score. Profile is an ambiguous term, to say the least, and who knows wat different ppl look for in a profile. Inspite of ur wonderful performance overall u mite still nt have made it bcoz somebody did it better than u... Come on is it that difficult to accept... I can call myself "Einstein" but tat doesnt really count rite ???

Just sit back and wait for SIBM to get their lists out. The selections and rejections must be more straight forward in their case.

Finally, i can conclude that SCMHRD gives calls not only based on profile but also on gender.

will not apply for scmhrd next year

I am confounded to see that a candidate after scoring 81.25 in SNAP with 88% in X & XII and two years working experience could not be shortlisted for GD/PI,whereas candidates with equal or lesser scores have been able to make it????

It was quite clear that SCMHRD will be giving profile based calls.
And also SNAP marks will be out of 30 by dividing the score by 6 so after dividing there is jst a 1 mark difference b/w 72 marks and 78 marks which 72 marks person can easily overtake by gvng somethng extra.

So dont feel let down. Nothing can be happened now.

I think Mr Ravi was referrin that the results will be available online only(whenever it is) and not in hard copy in the college campus.
