if u have not got your result that means u r not selected.i enquired a counsellor online and i was told that if within 5 days u dnt get ur result u are not selected.ur name might be in the waitlist.if some other candidates do not join they might take u.

They have ONE professor tats it, rest are post pgraduates and the system there has ruined them. My program leader was very close to the unruly gang of the batch- a guy from that gang could easily influence not just his marks but Others as well (a guy from tat gang threatened me tat he can get me debarred) Placements is another sham. The whole process is mis-managed. companies do know the quality of students here and every year they are surprised to find the quality slump. The dean/director is strong in industry contacts, but fails as an administrator. I think i will always be embarrassed by the words 'amity business school' in my profile..

shisha.... i beg to differ buddy.... other than icfai hyd,gurg,mumb... none of the icfai s r gud...i hail from kolkata...so i know how pathetic is the condition out here.... damn they dont have a building of their own even.... packages offered r same in amity as in amity mumb or gurg.... hyd is obviously better.... i am thru wid icfai bang... was there to see it...i felt i ud ruther nt do mba..:bigear:... after deciding all the oomph factors... i have decided 2 join amity noida cauz
1.the batch strength of mba(G) has been reduced to 350 from 700,so the placement factor will get a thumps up sign ....
2.the number of companies visiting amity for placements... cross the 100 mark...
3.the infrastructure is excellent
4.i got thru alliance,icfai b,amity,asia pacific,iiswbm.... nd found out amity(noida) to be the best... as it was also suggested by my uncle who is d director of iim kolkata

hey all! i m in a very big mess. der r two options in front of me. one is icfai pune which i got after selection process at icfai hyderabad. d other is amity noida for marketing and sales. comparing both of them is a difficult task. plz suggest me. what should i do? this is an important decision to make for my future. thanks in advance

1. noida is near my place so i cn stay at home n nt in a hostel or pg (i've nvr stayd away frm home since childhood)
2. the placements n the packages r more or less d same
3. ppl sd dat if i wud have made it to icfai gurgaon or hyderabd or mumbai den the case was different... but comparing amity n icfai kolkata den amity is better
4. at the tym of placement, the co, that wil come to recruit in amity wil b mostly located in noida only. but for kolkata, hardly any co wid branches in delhi ncr will b coming for placement... so amity will b a better option....
5. besides i also heard dat at d end f d day, all dat matters is r own capability... so if i du better in amity, it shud serve d purpose...

wat do u suggest after considering all these factors...

and i also agree amity s really not worth applying. ip univ. is also one of d gud universities which provide MBA,even i am also applying for dat.

But on the other hand, spending 8 lakhs for Amity can be a considered taking into account tht this yr the placements have touched 10 lakh(09 Batch)...

There is a lot of info available about evrything...its totally upto an individual how to use it and take a decision on its basis...
