Percentile Below: 83.74

X : 84%

+2 : 83.5%

B.Tech ECE : 56.47% can i get into KJ?

Herd that DTE is accepting MAT score is this true?

i am done with the counselling and get PGDM in K J SOMAIYA, and just 4 days back my waitlist is also cleared in BITS PILANI, plz knowledgeable guys and gals guide me in taking right decision( if possible with reasons too) i would be highly grateful to u all....

Hi Rooney,
My CMAT AIR is 189.. Which converts to abt 99.7 %ile.. I have taken Mhcet as well, but it didnt go that well.
What are my chances at SIMSR with an average GDPI ? (not that i intend to settle for an average one)
Also, If you could share some info on Annual Fees and Average placement package.. I've tried searching for the Mandate Disclosure pdf on KJSOM website.. but couldnt locate it.
Would appreciate any help.

hi....myself...sameer....my brother is in process of taking admission in K. J Somaiya ....in retail management branch......the concern is ....his academic are not good.....10th - 50 % , 12th - 48%, and B.Com 54%.......i want to know about placemnt process.....wht wud be crtieria of companies coming for recruitment....hw many of them wud only ask for MBA score and wht % age of them wud look for past academic record.........and also those students who didn't got placed anywher...... wud Placement department make sure that they wil get placed.......wud u please give me the correct information abt that.....i...we have to take this decision with in 2-3 days.....it wud be so kind of u.....if u can reply me as soon as fast... bye..

I m BE with no work exp;but i am placed in JP Morgan Tech.
I am confused that should i go for somaiya this year or give a try again next year?
Does having 1 year work exp help me in placements at somaiya?Or it wont make much difference?

Feb MAT score is considered. It is converted into CET equivalent. A score of 99.7+ is necessary for MMS.

XAT is also considered which again gets converted into CET equivalent

I am interested in pursuing my MBA from Maharashtra. But I have a doubt regarding the admission procedure there.
While I was looking up the web for various B schools, I came to know that some schools have own MBA courses apart from the MMS offered by Mumbai university.
I have shortlisted a few schools:
Jamnalal Bajaj
KJ Somaiya
Welingkar
Sydenham
SIES
PUMBA

My questions are:
1) Amongst these who offer both PGDM and/or MMS?
2) In case of both, are the application procedures different?
3) Is it true that if we take MH-CET, we do not need to apply to the MMS courses in various colleges separately?
4) I heard that there is a reservation clause for MH residents and only 15% of seats are for outside MH students. Is it true?
5) What are the cutoff scores required by the colleges generally for these courses?

hi freinds from kj Mumbai its nice somebody has taken the initiative to launch thread for kj i had read abt kj in many surveys but not familiar with actual picture is it correct kj offers 100% placements for mms and comparison between mms and pgdbm and alsoAICTE Mandatory on kj website has something else to say Mandatory Disclosure by Institutions running PGDBM/PGDM/MBA programmes to be included in their respective information Brochure what was the position last year do public sector undertaking visit the campus and the placements and if one has to compare betwwen kj and wellingkar mumbai what actual standings plzzzzzzzzz freinds
