just 1 tip for all u budding mba's,

the trick to crack snap paper it to crack the LR section. One needs to score at least 50 out of 60 in that section in order to get a call from top colleges.
Here's what i followed.
LR:- 45-50 minutes:-55 last year score
Gk:-10-25 min-19
Eng:- 20-25 minutes- 31.25(last year english was very easy)
Quant:- 35-40 minutes-32

this was my overall strategy.
for gk do refer to time's material.
do solve last 3 years papers they would be available on net.
ims last year brought out 5 mocks for snap. try and get hold of them..

this strategy i have been using and getting call form SIBM-P for last 3 years..
but that doesn't mean it would work for all...u can from your own too.

Depressed with my scores...Was not well when I was giving exam....continuously sneezing for 2 hours & TIME centre had fans & AC running in full speed....with this sort of score SIBM-P looks a distant dream.......will surely do well in 2nd AIMSNAP on 4th Dec..

P.S. I guess the thread starter would have the poll a little spread out. Instead of having 90-110, I guess it would be better if it would have been, 90-100, 100-110 etc. We can capture the distribution better.

First ever SNAP mock in my life. Felt good to do P n P after a long time.

GK: 4.75 ( I felt like i was a contestant on KBC answering 50 Lakh questions from the word go)

Obviously need to improve in GK which i hope to do after CAT. Other than that need to improve in Quant n verbal too. Felt the paper pretty easy compared to recent AIMCATs.

i guess many people missed out on this mock.. So we cannot go with the percentiles

My scores are horrible!

VA : 24.25 (VA was okiesh I guess 30 was manageable)
QA : 15 (QA was easy but still couldn't do it)(need to touch at-least 30 here)
GK : 7 (Some how I think a score bet 10 -15 would be considered really good in GK)
LC : 25 (This section is the make or break section I think getting 40+ is pretty achievable)

OA : 71.25 (bad score i think a lil improvement in all sections coupled with reducing silly mistakes would do the needful)

Any Idea how much does colleges like SIBM banglore and SIIB close on???

No need to change it yaar... it's ok... u know where u stand... yr score is gud except LR... u need 2 get around 20 more in that section to get calls from both SIBM and SCMHRD i guess...

Is it possible if any of u post the scanned copy of question paper, In dis way those who missed writing the xam can also attempt it and hence we will get variety o scores, also where are we standing currently in terms of larger audience/aspirants ??

Paper was on similar lines as SNAP 2010 but found VA to be slightly tougher.

Even GK was totally current affairs except EL-Nino one.So time to buckle up .

About the paper, except GK I thought it was fairly doable, with GK too having ample questions from Current Affairs, so for anyone having a fair idea of latest happenings, he/she could easily attempt around 15 from the 40 questions in GK. Vocab part I found tough in VA.
I have given SNAP only once and that was in 2008 and that paper was definitely tougher than what TIME gave today..

I agree... It was way easy than 2008... but it was comparable with last year paper... Guess the cutoff will be around 120 for SIBM-P...

GK was too tough... SNAP gives considerably easy questions than this... But I had a pathetic show in GK
