I too cant understand the whole number thingy.. either they hv not gone for -ve marking, or since the results are not officially out yet, so this could be the number of correct answers
Anyway, wont be affected much, as I hv a dream-like accuracy in this one.. with jus 108 attempts, I wud still manage 101.75, but wud affect my AIR +vely, thanx to the accuracy..

Guys cleared all sections ....missed by 10 marks...........

eagerly awaiting the results of NMIMS... i attempted around 102 questions... don't think that was enough :whatthat::whatthat::whatthat:.... but still hoping for some good news especially after getting chucked out of SIBM,XLRI,XIMB......and one more thing guys... cut-off's for individual sections can't be more than 25% of the individual sections marks as they are implementing the individual sectional cut-off's for the first time akin to SIBM....!!!! so...don't worry too much...

Cut-off should be lower than last year, since last year paper had 200 questions, whereas this yr 150 questions & only 120 minutes.
However, this yr's easier paper, and increased number of applications could compensate for that decrease

So, according to me the cut-off is not likely to be very high than last year's...!! should be arnd 75

I think u r forgetting that this year nmims may have sectional cut-off,so many may be left out even after clearing the cut-oof

probly more aspirants sit for snap than nm bcoz of their marketing n num of collgs
bt i think nm is a much better collg than sibm or scm
seeing the racial discrimination which scm observed (giving call to 70 nit stdnt who did not fill hobbies n extra n wrkng in an it firm 18 month ex) n nt giving call to me 80 with gud curr n same profile except for the fact tht i m from a gud private coll) boy this is abs unfair ..
i think they shud have a tie up with NITs wy take the pain of conducting an exam...
n for that matter that nit guy has actually underperformed n ihave outperformed since
he is frm nit he landed up here n i frm a pri engg collg landed up in the same company..
some body plz explain the meaning of profiles to scm guys.

guys gt 10 more min (they matter in these exams) then after exam whole snap paper was available ... (cmon dude r we in the age of robots who might have sit at the exam n copied all the Qs during exam thru his bioelectromechanical eye) no such paper was available for nm after the exam

gd/pi list fr nm gives u rank n marks
in snap they wither say regret or congrats ..... dude we need more transparency..

all these are just thoughts from a person who did not get a call from scm n sibm so i may have got a little too frusto bt i think their is some say some say a little bit truth n logic behind all these stmts ...

ne one can criticise this post but i need sound logical reasons....

NMAT thread and the discussion is about SNAP test being conducted badly? :whatthat: I do understand your frustration about not getting a call (you probably deserved) but this isn't the right thread for that. You can post the same query in a SNAP related thread or maybe PM somebody studying there, directly. You are more likely to get a reply this way.

Attempted 98 in NMAT...with arnd 40 + in Quant, and remaining 2 sections almost evenly distributed. Hoping for a gud accuracy... All my hopes only on NMAT....

Like some of you I have been left on the mercy of NMAT for an MBA this year.

I have attempted close to 95+ questions which now seems meagre after reading the posts.

What I am not able to comprehend is when most of the Junta has attempted 100+ questions, why the cut offs should be as low as 75-78. My take is it wont be less than 82-85. We can site the example of SIBM's cut off. Inspite of SNAP being much higher in difficulty than NMAT and even afer SIBM imposed such stringent sectional cut offs, the overall cut off went uptill 85. OK we can take the 240 + Bangalore seats factor but I dont think it can have an impact of 2-3 marks.

Ppl plz comment ?

last year cutoffS for SIBM went at 83.5 n nmat 80 for decent rank (top 500)
expect the same this year as there are a host of reasons
1> 2.5 hrs test nmat
2>200 Qs
3>GK
