Might miss the cutoff in VA

What will be the cut-offs for the kolkata campus???
CAN anyone please help....

I think Panaji is wrongly listed as a Major Seaport in that map. Even i was confused. But according to all other sources the only major seaport in Goa is Marmagoa.

Also, For Set D, question no. 29, according to CL key, Housing and Real state attracted minimum FDI in 2009-2010. The answer should be Power.

The main doubt I have over this is... "The" can be put before words like "people" only when the word "people" represents a class. Here in the sentence given "employees" does not represent a class. So marked B.. not sure though.. I am very weak in VA..
Another query what is wrong "she does not ...

I think the answer should be D. the choice B is : The people in my country are smarter than in other countries.
The correct sentence should be: The people in my country are smarter than those in other countries.
However, even im not very sure.

I think 2 answers in the GA key of CL are wrong.
According to their key, the answer for the UNESCO world heritage site added in 2010 is Red Fort. However, according to Wikipedia the answer should be Jantar Mantar. Red Fort was added in 2007 and not 2010.

I think so too, it should be 'People in my country..' rather than 'The people...'

My expectations werent very high after giving the test...this what i m getting according to TF....

I think both Tf and cl correct.
I had assumed the motorbike to go till the end to drop first guy.
Actually he can drop him someway near the end and travel back to pick-up.
in that case time will be less than < 11.

Okay....cl and tf hv comparable scores for me :cheers:. 1 answer marked wrong in tf is correct in va section and one wrong in tf is ambigous in cl.

Just checked out CL's answer keys and here's how I fared at it-
DI -Attempts=19; Correct=18; wrong=1. Net score=17.67
VA(RC)-Attempts=6;correct=5;wrong=1. Net score=3.3
VA(II) -Attempts=18;correct=14;wrong=4.Net score=7.67

Hi all,
This was my first attempt in IIFT.
I attempted 8 QA, 11 LRDI, 19 VA/RC and 15/17 GK which makes OA around 55.
GK was easy for me and am pretty sure about the answers.
I identified the sitters in QA and LRDI so expecting a good score.
I found VA easy and RC lengthy. Pretty ...

Yaar it was a differentiation question and an easy one too. But damn, calc mistake took me:banghead:
See, f=(54-x/32)^2
Revenue, say R=x*f
marginal revenue=dR/dx
doing differentiation, we get x=32*54 and x=32*18
But max capacity is 900, so 32*54 is not possible
so x=32*18=576

Agreed, mate! The stupid cow of an examiner at my center gave the question papers 5 minutes before the scheduled time to "check whether all the pages are intact and printed properly!"
You should've seen the drooling faces of most of them in the class!

I guessed it at 576...Though how can it be 1728 if capacity is 900...Somebdy knw how to solve it?
