but I can get Dalmiya MMS or SIES MMS or PUMBA as per my CET score......!!

which one should I prefer??

you can get a letter from college which would say attending the fortnight is compulsory and than u can complete your formalities at work post the foundation fortnight.

the refund details are clearly mentioned in the same letter, which contains the details about the course allocated to you.

Does that mean that students selected for Bangalore could in the middle of the academic session shift to Mumbai, if they are called upon? I mean in the first two months for example.

Such a thing has happened to my knowledge. Cause after two months I don't think anyone cancels admission.
But logically if anyone cancels admission, and then the next eligible person for that seat is in banglore he may get a transfer or person from bombay may get a course upgradation.
Not sure about it.

See when you join a bschool, you will be made to sign on a confidentiality clause, stating you can never discuss, placements, companies and packages on online forums.
The reason for that is other colleges use those figures to negotiate terms with companies for their own benefit.
So we as students, can never post anything from our side.
But when a report is published that can be shared.
And everything mentioned in the report is valid.
As there are systems in place to pounce on a bschool if it publishes wrong data.

So I think you would understand that.

Now, about my experiences being only positive.
Dear friend, please understand, if I have had positive experiences I will post positives only.

The college has always lived up to my expectations and I have got various opportunities from here.

But, that doesn't mean, I am saying this is the best MBA college in the world.
It has its own unique place, and I have had good experiences.

But the logic you guys are applying which goes as since all comments are positive, I am advertising for college has no sense. I have only opposed that.

Plus, we banglore and we mumbai cannot be compared and ofcourse no one will ever leave mumbai for banglore. But, at the same time, they are not two seperate entities for the reasons you have agreed to me.

Now I cannot compare it with sies as its against forum rules, but I respect your choice.

Your friends in banglore may not know about it, that is also valid.

But why are you targetting me if I am sharing my share of experience on the basis that our friends don't know about it.

If you want to listen to your friends you can do so, but you can't quotes my posts with the income tax raid post two years old.

That is targetting me, which is not right.

I have never compared any school nor have told anyone to join any particular school.

There is a difference ofcourse, as we banglore is just a few years old, but still it shares all the good things with we mumbai.

I am a student and trust me I have seen it from inside. I can give you innumerable examples of people who have used that exposure and done better in life.

So if you have a slightly less score and if you want to still get the benefits of we mumbai like core senior faculty, business design or ebusiness course, than we banglore can be considered, that the whole point.

If you understand. And ofcourse if you get something better you should join that, its a personal call.

But please don't blame me for sharing my experiences and I cannot help it if all are positive.

Interest rate-12.95%.. If you want to pay your EMI after the completion of your course (2 yrs and 6 months grace period)
Interest rate- 12.75%..If you can pay the interest component of the loan during the course period
Interest rate 12.5%.. IF you can pay the full EMI from the start of your course period
No collateral for loan upto 7 lac...you just need 2 guarantor
Processing fees Rs 5000

If you do some research you may find few banks willing to give you a loan at a cheaper rate...but the downsides could be that they will make it mandatory for you to pay the interest component during the course period(which will put a financial strain on you when you are not earning) or only 80% of the required amount will be sanctioned or make you mortgage your house...anyway I have PM'd you the contact no. of the guy from Credila...

from starting you are only telling the positives of we......not even one negative statement,,,see bro we all know every college have +ves and -ves..if you put one or two such -ve things.....we will understand better....we know how to analyze them....
and the placement figures announced by college were generally hyped.....we expect seniors to tell us the exact figures.....but what you are doing is just copy paste the info from the site which we already know....

you are saying we mumbai and we bangalore are same entities...and the placement links posted by you is about we mumbai....okay agree FF,pedagogy,events,some faculty is same for both instis....but we mumbai>>> we bangalore wen it comes to placements.....we mumbai is brand in mumbai.......i stayed in bangalore for 1 year and people there hardly knows about we bangalore..
i have some frens in we bangalore and they agree to that.....i prefer listening facts from my frens than a stranger like you....

coming to myself i converted we bang e biz...and im not joining..i want to do mba in mumbai.....waiting for sies pgdm....if i get through i wil join or else i will try next year....

Yes there is a possibility if a lot of students cancel.
But generally that doesn't happen.
Suppose there are x students in waitlist.
And y students cancel admission.

Now, if y is greater than x.

Than students who did not featured in any of the waitlist, will get a call.

A humble request to look into the user AIM GAME's intentions:
And take appropiate action against him.

Complains regarding him (AIM GAME):

1. Insult to a Reputed Bschool:

AIM GAME is misquoting part of the quotes to sound knowledgeable.
He is sitting here and just spoiling the name of a reputed Bschool.
Look into all his posts and you will find he has said nothing but everything negative about the college and not only this a few others too. I have read all his posts, I don't find any help ever given to anyone, unless, it is saying bad about welingkar.
He has supported every user who has said bad about the college.
And he has quoted one review to infer the whole college is bad.

When someone tries to oppose of argue with him, he says that person is SPOILING THE THREAD.
Why is he posting reviews in a thread which for discussion among people who have converted and have admission related queries?

Can we safely infer, he is posting such things to defame the college???
Please look into this and take appropiate action.

2. Allegations on a senior student:
Time and again, he has targeted me, a senior student from the same Bschool and he has out various allegations on me.
He has blamed me for marketing because I am trying to help aspirants.
I share my experiences and they are good. So all positive things come out.
Please analyse my posts and check. I would have said good about the college, as I have good experiences.

That doesn't mean I am marketing for the college.

If he has tried to defame, I have posted links and relevant facts from various websites, to which he claims I am spoiling the thread.

Analyse my posts, I am here to help and I have helped innumerable of aspirants with my understanding and experiences about my management college.

I have never forced anyone to believe in me.

Please let me know if I have done anything wrong.
Otherwise, please take proper action against AIM GAME.


3. Falsely revealing identity and breaking the forum rules

A private chat between UD27 and AIM GAME, was made PUBLIC.
It contained the revelation of my name and false facts about me.

HE HAS BROKEN SO MANY FORUM RULES AND SPOILED ALL THE THREADS STARTED BY ME TO HELP THE ASPIRANTS.

Is there any chance for a person to convert his pgdm call even if he dosent feature in any of the two merit lists or they will upgrade those who have converted other courses first.
and since welingkar is releasing all its list before the cap rounds is there any possiblity to convert the call after the third listsince many people will be shifting towards mms.

In the poll results above I saw AIM GAME you have converted for PGDM Mumbai. COngrats bro!!!

The next movement generally happens when the CET Lists are out and people who get MMS in better college withdraw there admission.

The waitlisted candidates move up and than still if the seats remain, MAY BE, the institute will call or mail.

But such a thing has never happened as much as my experience is concerned.

The complete waitlist never gets converted.

And about the deadlines, see to be on a safer side, you should be ready.
Min of 2 - 3 days are GENERALLY given.
And on request, if the problem is genuine a little extension may also be given.

Can you please throw some light on the reason for the such a short admission window?? Since the second list was announced on 18th June and last date for payment is 20th June? and that too in only Mumbai and Bangalore campuses where we must go in person to get the originals verified!!! For people staying outside Mumbai or Bangalore its close to impossible unless they take a flight to make the deadlines!!

I heard from an aspirant, that when she called the college and explained here situation to the authorities on phone, considering her case as genuine, the college authorities, extended the deadline for her.

So, here's a learning for everyone, please don't focus on the problems,
FOCUS On the Solutions.

They are marketing guys, AIM GAME knows them personally.

I mean, you know them right? Else you would not be so sure.
And if you don't know them personally, I would advise you not to make such comments.


Anyways and he will not let the WE School Banglore seats to be filled,

MAY BE (Logical Assumption)
Because he wants to market some other b-school...
MAY BE...And send students to a B SCHOOL WHICH IS BETTER THAN THE IIMs...

I am making a few comments, as I think a few people here are sitting here
JUST TO HIGHLIGHT NEGATIVE points about a certain B-School.
I mean why would someone in disguise of saying that he is helping the aspirants, never answer any query, but talk just BAD, JUST BAD about the insitute.

Now, if someone talks GOOD...
HE is marketing the college....
So with exactly the same logic used...
Someone is talking bad...
He is defaming the college.

This should not be accepted.
The Institute I have studied is equivalent to Temple of Knowledge to ME.
And I cannot sit and listen to the NEGATIVEs pointed out by someone, with no proof.
This should not offend anyone and must be taken in the right spirits.
Everyone on this forum is matured enough to take informed calls.

BUT FALSE ALLEGATIONS SHOULD NOT BE ENCOURAGED.

I spoke wid Mr.samir who sits in a small cabin on right hand side of a fountain as we enter the campus. ( Next to some libraries)

He said categorically, CHANGE is not possible.

And i belive on his credentials too, as insider he told me ill get PGDM BD before hand

PLUS its written on admission letter itself UPGRADE is not possible.

I would really appreciate that college be little transparent. A LITTLE wat i say.

@badmaninheavn i respect ur dedication in replyin to our queries.

previous years it had happened you can ask any of the seniors.
as you wish, all this are our experiences.

secondly, we are just seniors here, we can clear your doubts, if you have any problem with the management or the transparency issues or anything, I don't think this is the right forum to engage with them.\

i m sorry i can't do anything about the transparency issues you have.

This branch of Welingkar mumbai is not at all in anyway offers the quality of service which Welingkar Mumbai branch is known for. People get easily fooled by Welingkar tag. If you are thinking about joining this college then be warned this is just another private college type of institute here in Bangalore.
1.very poor placements,compnies only come but dont select. Just formality.
2.poor overall staff and management ,only here to mint money
3.inexperienced faculties for most subjects (not all).
4.quality of students and crowd in general is not what you would expect from Welingkar type of college .
5. same goes for teaching.
And most important, not worth the fees charged

Well this college has good publicity sense, especially since welingkar mumbai enjoys decent name, the college dupes student to join bangalore campus as well. As a matter of fact the college no good faculty especially in the field of finance (if u want a career in finance do not choose this college). infrastructure was absolutely inadequate when i had joined (200. The college authorities both in mumbai & bangalore campus assured us of good placements in the end but nothing of that sort happened. Only 50 % batch was placed that too average.....the college has no place for merit students politics rules....make wise decision for urself.

But I know people who had been told that upgradation will be possible at the time of paying the fees.

I am again saying, all the comments and posts by me are based on my experiences as per previous years. I know of my friends and myself, wherein it was not mentioned explicitly still the course and even the campus got upgraded.

If you think what I am saying is wrong ignore my posts.

I am sure about the same happenning previously, plus I know people who were told the same at the time of paying admission.

Anyways, take a informed decision, and all in doubt get things verified personally through the respective sources.

BD was my first preference. As for my profile:
I have poor academics and am a fresher... But I've scored 95 percentile in xat... Interview was good too...
But you cannot compare things like this to judge your chances... So, just hope for the best and I wish we end up in the same batch too. :)

unfortunately i wud not be a part of WE, as m likely to join SIMSR...but we shud definitely keep in touch, n i wish u all the best for BD n all ur future endeavors!!

Hey @badmaninheaven what ur saying is totally wrong...I just now rang up da college office pin Mumbai.....they said once uv been given any course amongst any of your preferences(in my case pgdm ebiz banglor) and it's not explicitly mentioned dat u hav been wait listed for a higher preference course of yours.... Then no upgrade or change of campus is possible....whatever u hav got....dat will be final.....

Dats y Saying stuff like secure admission n den be eligible for upgrade is crap....if it's not mentioned ur not wait listed den u have no chance of upgrade or change of course.... So puts make an informed choice.....
