dude nothing like tat i hav recieved mail without even calling thr and i used to think like u b4 i received it so just chill and wait. only problem is that thy are lazy enough not to upload waitlist nos.

plz tell me which companies provided placements for agri-business students of 2010-2012 batch and what were the profiles offered. what wz the average package lyk?
also could sum1 provide me the link showing fee installments.
since I am waitlisted for sum other colleges i would also want to know abt the cancellation procedure and the amount deducted on cancellation. i think the ones who have cancelled their admissions would know abt this better.

My first convert,I had lost all hopes for this year ......speechless!!!

Admissions (for the recent calls)-To confirm the admission you are required to deposit the first installment of fees in the SIIB accounts
section by 17th May 2012 (Thursday), 1:30 p.m.

So,i guess people can expect the movement after this date and yes,it is going to move.i am cancelling my admission for the IB slot.best of luck to you all.

You can expect the waitlist to move till June.On an average after every 15 days there may or may not be a waitlist movement.

I am posting for the first time in this thread..too late I should say. I have been following the thread since the begining of the process and was quite impressed by the prompt response and so much help from the seniors. However I observed one thing in common from almost all the aspirants quarries i.e. concern regarding placement scenario and ranking of the college. To be precise I would say both the things are important but when considered working in real world, its is more important to see beyond couple of years after completing the MBA. The top notch institute gives us a great chance at highly recognized companies and big players in the market, but none of them guarantee any placement. Its finally the student who have to prove his metal. Choosing League college is dream, Even AAA colleges ( referring to TIME college list) is a great achievement considering the tough competition. However the thing is not end in itself. I would Suggest all to consider their interest in broader sense e.g choosing the proper career line and stream in which they need to excel. High package will never guarantee a great success. Its how we manage to survive and grow once we are pushed in the corporate akhada.


Do make necessary effort in understanding your requirement better rather than following the college ranking list ( whose criteria vary vastly for all the conducting authorities) and average package figures. Follow the 3 Idiots line ' Kabil bano kabil..kamyabi ***** ayegi pichhe'. Wishing all wait listed candidates All the Best ...

If you want to pursue a specialized MBA (assuming you converted IB), go for SIIB. But if you think a general MBA is your cup of tea, SIBM-B is a better choice. And if you are still confused, I would suggest you to go for SIIB because of its vintage, location, brand value, alumni network and anticipated demand for specialists in International Business.

I dont think I got any waitlisted number..it was only mentioned as waitlisted..which now got converted yesterday..Had converted in the IB stream..

got the correct mail after having a talk with the concerned department. have converted mba E and E. now confused as to go for it or not as i have offers from manchester business school and university college london for an msc in financial mathematics . any update on the placements this year ?
as well i have a query , as my final year examinations are getting over on the 11th of june, much later than the joining date what should be done in this regard ?seniors please help .

i got a convert mail from siib at 4:00 pm . but the offer letter has some other name and snap id. what is siib upto am not getting it.
