Hello!I was filling the form for SNAP and the checkbox for SCIT (another Rs 1000) is not there, not even the college name. I checked it while I was filling the form but payment thing is not showing me the option to mark SCIT and pay the amount.

The waitlist has not moved any further as we see no cancellations.
It has been 2 weeks since students have joined the college. So I feel we wont be seeing any more cancellations as such.

Yogi i think so we dnt have a chance better u opt for ur job n try next year tht is wht my advice is...bcoz 3rd july will b too late n how much ever i goto knw frm my frnds there are over buffered with the no. of students... so we dnt have a chnce....

Now they are saying becoz of no cancellations (though we know of 4-5 cancellation from fb page), WaitList does not move any further..

I did Btech(IT)-2004; but I have gap of 3 yrs (not continuous) due to relocation after marriage. Total experience in IT is 4yrs. My grade point was 6.02 which is not 1st class.

I had visited the SCIT admissions at the college premises..dey said that as of now dey have no report of ne cancellation (although abt 3-4 people have said that they have applied for cancellation after 16th May on SCIT group page):sneaky:

Probably you can call them back after June 4th to know your status. This is the only way to know your chances.

It is difficult for us to predict the number of cancellations and it also depends on the number of people on the waiting list who are not willing to join.

Let me clear the air Specialization is not the only criteria which will end up giving you good placement and package. Your profile, Academics @ SCIT, Extra-Curricular Participation etc. all matter during your placement.
