On Sunday, I appeared in GD-PI of Welingkar in Mumbai itself.
GD topic was "Joint Family V/s Nuclear family"
I did not start in first as usual. I saw the GD was more with Joint family, everbody quite agree about Joint family. Then, I entered with some positive points and neccessity of nuclear family in today's world. in latter half, provided some examples (good one) in nuclear family and then some of the negative points of Joint family. Also appreciated some of the good points of joint family.
It was NOT a fish market at all. Thanks to members of my team:)

Intvr: Tell me smthing abt urself
I: .....Blh blah....
Intvwr: Why Management education
I: told
Intvwr: U have marked all the courses!!!We are looking for focused people, who can contribute to the batch and then industry.
I: I'm focussed, basic interest is in Marketing. But I need to join Management education to know the Business and management.
Intvwr: Why all courses?
I: To get into WE school. The variety here would provide me an opportunity to learn a lot of things.
Intvwr: Ur background is mechanical and ur industry too. So how u can work in Healthcare industry.
I:i provided some of the examples of my past. Mostly of my college Project, which was based on tea processing and its desorption. A lot of chemical processes were involved.
So I have no restrictions to myself to learn different things.
Intvwr: No we are not satisfied. how being in Automotive technologies, u would contribute.
I: (technology strike my mind) I need to work on different new technologies in Healthcare too. Also, the industrial experience would provide me an insight of industry born diseases, also the type of problems. Fitness and Healthcare can be good investment looking at future prospects.
Intvwr: Still, we are not satisfied.
I: I have to manage the Helathcare industry. So, I can work on reducing the Queue, on providing it to needy zone.
Intvwr: why not an ME/M Tech? U may get a good pay. Also, there is a huge shortage of Mechanical Engineers. Defence ordanance and all.
I: (It was not to good to criticize my current domain, so Interest and future prospects were keyword for me) I showed my interest. How I developed my interest. What I have done- in college I have attended a 3 month program of Business skill developmemnt program orhganised by MSME and and as such.
Other Intvwr (in between): Asked abt my father.
I: He is in Public relations and associated with HR.
Intvwr: Is this only thing. Are u satisfied with ur job.
I: Yes
Intvwr: why Management.
I:to work on a wide range, suppose if it is marketing. I may work right from introduction of product (or before) to end .
Also, I used some my fathers experience. What he made me learn through his knowledge of different training programs and so
(here I took reference of my personal life, just to answer. I think, I should not do so. I can have my workplace environment instaed. But at that time, what was coming in front of me. i was trying to defend myself, using that only)
Intvwr:Again, they asked me about my industrial training what I mentioned in a paper mill.
I: Could not answer, it was not known to me.
Intvwr; Did you have resigned?
I: Yes
Intvwr; What would happen if you are not getting selected here?
I: Prepare for next year admission.
Intvwr; MBA is just 1% of ur life.
I; didnot commented instantly. Coz he was correct. I later I said abt my interest.
other Intvwr: Do u know abt Business Design. Have you went through website to know about this course.
I: Yes, but forgot some of the things. I tried to explain, what I can remember then (Although I was going in correct direction, but I was not confident on my move)
Intvwr: Extra Curricular?
I; Listed all from my school to company. Some of the good things were: DD bHarti show host at school, 2nd prize in Zonal level at National youth Parliament, College Techno fest management (in 2008-09 - recession years),
And mentioned 2 job offers after my BE (with quick succession in Technofest management, I told this. I don't know, whether I have played this point correctly or not.!!!It looks as if it was wrong, I should not mention)
Intvwr: Anyway, Thank you. Shake hands!!!!!!!
Psychometric test: be true to yourself. That is what I tried doing there.

Well I really I cannot rate myself on this type of interview.
I'm happy because this was 1st interview for PGDM/MBA program.
After 3 yrs, of what I attended for Campus interviews at college.
I'm sorry, I have made such a big entry. Pls guide me to make it a short one.
