Please contact the Admissions Office directly by phone. These matters are handled by the Admissions Office and the Accounts Department. Students are not in the know of fees related queries/status checks.

I would agree with Kshitij on this one. It can be better if you can bring one suit/blazer (navy blue) of your own because then if there are any issues with fittings, then you have an option to wear another coat.

No...Don't bring any. You'll be given one...Bring one if you wish to wear it of your own volition. In that case, bring a blue blazer...Navy Blue (Dark)

OBL is definitely one of the best times in SIBM-Bangalore. An opportunity to have a lot of fun, knowing your batchmates and also some learning on the way.

You need to bring your own. College might tie up with some vendor and might get you a 10-15% discount. Last year we had a discount on the Macbooks

The Admissions deptt might consider your request for a delayed document, but the refund rules are not governed by the "reason" why you are cancelling the seat, rather than "when" you are doing it.

The dates and the respective refund amounts are mentioned in the annexure sent to everyone, and each word on it is final. We, as students, do not have any say on it as such. So, request you to think, plan and take your step (of canceling now, later or not at all) considering all the factors mentioned and as applicable to you.

I'm sorry. You not attending the classes does not mean anything. Since the course has started, it has started for you as well. It's only that you're not attending it. You might bunk indefinitely, but that won't mean the seats are filled and you are on the rolls of the college.

If it is only a problem of the relieving letter, I suggest you talk to the Admissions Department and ask for a few days leave. If you have converted some other college and would like to take that up, I would suggest cancelling the admission now so that somebody who wants SIBM-B might get the chance. This will also save you quite a lot of money.

As for the question, whatever the Admissions Department has informed you is the correct solution. Nikhil might confirm this whenever he is here. By your calculations, which I'm assuming to be correct since I don't know the fee details for this year, it would be about 80,000

Brother, 12th June means it is after the start of the program. This is because the program starts on 6th June, i.e. 1 week before 12th June.

In this case, you will lose 1/6th of the fees if that has been informed to you by the Admissions Department. This is due to the fact that the course has started and your cancelling the seat would leave 1 seat empty and take away the chance of 1 hopeful candidate who now cannot join since the course has started !

The concepts of Week-End and Holidays is not applicable inside the gates of SIBM-B..!! You are gonna be an MBA... learn to reach the next level of humanness..!!

Its exciting and quite a proud feeling telling when you go without a single day off for 62 days..!! And we did it..!!

As far the experience of last 2 seasons goes..its fine to reach the campus odd times..however please avoid it..!!

Its like if u reach at 5 AM then they will let u in the campus but you will have to wait..!! Please avoid reaching late nite..!! I am sure if you reach late night the warden will surely help you in staying overnite in any of the rooms...!!

Don't worry much about all these issues, you are a student of SIBM-B not an outsider..everyone thr is to help you and support you for next 2 yrs not to trouble you..!! So ease out and enjoy the days at home...you might miss them later..

I would suggest reaching there in the morning. I'm not sure about the temporary rooms. Ask the Admissions Department regarding that.

Final case scenario is that you will have to book a hotel for a day if you're coming alone.

That's the point. The faculty is visiting faculty. They are lecturers/professors at IIM's who come down to take entire courses for us. When they're free, they'll come down and you'll have classes.

Any day of the week might be off...if you get one that is....

I've just cleared d admn. in d lat cleared Wl. wanted 2 know abt the Quantity of PIP.will we be able to finish it easily( considering m an engg. , not much knowledge abt commerce fundas ) or can the college authorities give us d mail ids on confirmation mails. PLZ Suggest....

Its actually quite big. Not to worry though. It is basically text where you learn concepts followed by a quiz on those concepts. Everybody will be able to do it. Takes some time though.

The college should be sending you the ID with your confirmation mail after your fees has been received.
