Yes, it is possible. Please contact SIOM and send them a mail to transfer the fees to SIBM Bangalore. Keep the Admissions deptt of SIBM B in loop too and they will take it from there..

I got my fees transferred from SCIT last year in a similar way.

Akki I believe anyone who is working would not be having his work experience certificate as it given only when you leave the company.. So I believe the last drawn salary slip and joining letter should suffice!
Even I will be doing the same (wailisted :))

P.S: You can ask for your company HR to issue a certificate stating that you are an employee of that company from your joining date to current date.

I got a reply acknowledging the receipt of my email and stating that the hard copy of the offer letter wud be dispatched by the 26th of this month....

better call them up and get some sort of acknowledgement from their end to be sure as the last date to accept the offer is 24th.

3. Those who want to know more about the college, the official website is the place to look for most of the information. Course structure, faculty, placements, recruiters, infrastructure, past events etc etc . Its all there....

4. College Uniform: Ahh... Not always, but you have to wear it compulsorily on Saturdays, and during any Industry/Guest sessions/ Events (Official ones) . You will be told about the dress code for most of the occasions by respective committees that handle the entire functioning of the institute. MBA is also about being and growing an exuberance of a leader.. Dressing to the occasion is an imp. ingredient to this process

5. Sabbatical related query: I would rather have you confirm this from the Admissions deptt.. Cause they have been and will be very particular about docs..

Can i send my joining letter and the last month's payslip as a proof of my work-ex for the mean time? I can submit the certificate at the time of joining the college..

I have work-ex of 2.5 yrs and my company has an option to take sabbatical leave(2yrs leave for higher studies).If i avail this leave i 'll not get my experience letter instead they are giving me recommendation letter saying "Mr.**** has been working in our company from **** date."

Would this letter be sufficient in place of experience letter???????????

When will the placement report be out..it will be really helpful if we can get this info before the last date for fees submission..Seniors help..

If there have been confirmations from students selected in the first merit list, why 145 students from 1st waiting list have been selected. It comes to 97% rejection rate of 1st merit list. I have cheked with other symbiosis colleges and none have got that high rejection ratio.

Students in first merit list were those with higher overall score including snap score. Most of them were on merit list of SIBM pune and SCMHRD also. Obviously, they selected these institutes and didnot confirm SIBM bangalore. That is how the waiting list moved so fast.

I guess merit list number wouldn't change, as that still remains the same technically. It is only displaying if you are now selected or not. I was waitlisted earlier but now it just says- congrats u hav been selected, no change in number.

I feel I need to clear the air a bit here..

1. Today about 180 students were moved to final merit list, that means about 150 from General category from the WL - 1. Now, if sum1 is after this, he/she will have to wait till April 5th or so for further clarity.
Similarly, about 30 ppl from SC/ST/KM/PH have been moved.. Now I don't know the individual movements in the categories, but ppl here can post their WL no for a fair idea.

2. As I told earlier, mail shall be sent to the candidates tomorrow, all the details will be mentioned there..

3. No, there is no hidden costs- The fees you are going to pay (which will be mentioned on the offer letter), includes the Hostel, mess, Tuition fees and the online pre-induction program fees. Your college uniform, your medical insurance, your books is all included.

4. If someone does not pay the fees within the stipulated time given to them, the seat will be given to the next in the line in that category. It is that simple. In case anyone has any fees related query, I request not to mail, but call them and get a say from the Admissions deptt itself.

5. I know the WL movement seems a bit too high, but trust me, those ppl in the Admissions are experienced and know a lot about the WL movement and trends etc.. In fact I thought you guys would take it as a good thing considering your wait has been reduced by a good 10 days!

Anyways, for now, wait for the mail from the college. WL1 guys from around rank ~150 onwards, WL2 , WL3 guys- please wait.. till the next movement happens.. Trust me, if it happens before April 5th, Puys will be the first ones to know..

Could anyone please throw some light on how many ppl are thier in each waitlist.
My GE/PE went really good and was frustrated at being waitlisted but looking at the current movement, I hope I have a chance.
