Thanks for the info buddy ! So that means that technically, according to the last year trends, everybody with 99 %ile + will get an automatic convert ? Because with 70% weightage to the NMAT score, if we take percentile as the parameter, a 100 %iler will get the full quota of 70 marks, right ? The GD-PI process will be just a formality with these guys. Please correct me if I am missing something. Kudos Vipul

remember that gdpi carries 15 marks so nothing is an automatic convert.
u never no wat can happen in a bad gd/pi unless u r into 1..so prepare for the worst and hope for the best

people can only speculate on the formula here as it is not in public domain. But score of academics and work-ex can depend on how you answer questions related to these in the interview.

blazer is not necessary, its on your choice. the process should get over latest by 1.00pm.

Any idea as to how many people NMIMS Mumbai have called this time around.
Seems people with 93.5 percentile onward have got calls and going upto 100 . 50,000 people registered and say 97-98 percent people took the test, it means that 48k people took the test. 6.5 percent of that would mean close to 3200 people and there would be some people out 93.5 plus percentilers who would have cleared the overall cutoffs but missed the sectionals and that would be approx 2% that means 3200-640 = 2560 .. so round about the same number of people as the last time round ... also any information as to what are the number of seats .. have there been any increment in its number?

the explanation may be a bit hypothetical.

Mba Core(300) + Capital(60) + banking(60) + acturial(30) + hr(30) = 480 seats in mumbai campus(except for pharma)

As per the above source, no public transport facilities will be available...airport offices,railway offices will be closed, rickshaws wouldn't be available from 6 AM in the morning....:shock:

no senior but had attended the gdpi process last year..could nt convert :-(

just wanted to share with the other puys but last year's experince..

gd - dont remeber exactly but it was something on environmen related stuff..mean to convey that it was nothing like direct based on current affairs or totally abstract.they normally give general topic.so jus wanted to convey that puys dont feel too loaded if you not so thorogh or do not have ample time to read in detail abt the current affairs etc.it is more like on the spot thing .
dont be nervous and totaly low on confidence if u not sure of the gk behind it.just try to put ur understanding behind it and take part in the group fearlesly..

dont feel intimidated by ppl throwing in fal facts n figures..nobody knws to much wat to say and use their kwnldge but if the topics are general (lik last yr) then you have nothin much to worry. :-)

pi -pi was also a regular one with same questions lik tel us abt urslf..why should we take you..askd me a lil abt my work (nothing abt my grad though mayb cuz i was having wrk experinc of a arnd 8months..) if ur a fresher u mayb questns abt acads to mayb wrk ex ppl too but in my case i was not.
they dint ask me anythikng on my sop either.but ppl wer askd i gues..so dont knw..!..otherwise 1-2 general knw questions like - what ur thots on CSR..
some basic abt budget.

main point i wanted to make was..relax guys!.the proces is pretty str8 forward n simple..atleast til last yr.simple genral topic gd..genral intrview.no stress interview i faced etc..hope we make it !

The fee structure will be disclosed when you get the final admit.
The total course fee was 9.32 lacs for the last year.For this year may be the fee could be the same or we can expect a increase of somewhere in b/n 2 to 5 %

i think it was some 13lakhs last yr if i am not wrong.....dont know whether its including hostel or not ...last heard hostel cost around 1.2 lakhs for a year
