My college gives GPA out of 10.We calculate the marks in percentage by multiplying the GPA with 10. Do I need a certificate to show this GPA to percentage conversion?

they wont ask for these, but it will help you to recall what you have done and what you have written during the tense moments before your Personal Interview. there is a med-high possibility of questions from your SOP

now my query is what is the last date for gd/pi in mumbai

because they had given me the slot on 5th march & i was not able to come at that time reason iim interview on 4th in bangalore.

Regarding the specialisation, is it compulosry to choose a specialisation in 2nd yr and then choose electives for that specialisation or choose electives of any specialisation..

long way to go man.. you have to choose electives only.. your specialization depends on how many electives of a particular field you choose.

both of you stop worrying about these small matters and focus on the GD-PI.. have a calm mind and see the bigger picture..

Ok first of all feel confident. You can do it even with low score in NMAT. There are lot of student in NM who made it here with low scores.
Generally work ex guys are grilled on their work ex. They want to know why r u leaving your current job and how clear you are in what you want to do. What you need to do here is prepare an answer that shows how your work ex help you get basic skills and in order to further aquire advance skills an MBA is required.

From past experience, i don't think work-ex guys will be quizzed a lot on acads. But yes , one question here and there may turn up. Just be prepared on basic definitions and current affairs (especially those related to business). Mostly be clear on HR questions like future goals, why MBA etc. If you answer those clearly and confidently, i don't see much of a problem.

NM process was one of the coolest among the 15 processes i attended in 2010 and not much grilling and very little stress is given in interviews. GDs are also mostly chilled out (without many fish market cases). So just be clear on yourself, the environment during the process is mostly favorable.

there are "cells" (clubs) for marketing, finance, HR, economics, operations, IT, english, quizzing etc.. also, cells for projects, both industry driven and student driven. a student can be a part of upto 3 cells and work for the cells.. they will be guided by the seniors. There's also a "We Care" program where students are sent for 3 weeks to NGOs.
foreign language classes are not present as of now. will be arranged if there is enough demand.
Normal classes get over at 2 and students are free to participate in events and competitions all over the country (most of them are online these days) and/or pursue academic projects..

you have to carry ALL the documents mentioned in the email/call letter..
please ensure that you carry your call letter, 10, 12, grad certis (upto whichever semester you have completed) .. (i might have missed something, but re-read your call letter.. those documents mentioned in the call letter are important)

You may carry your CV in case you want to go through it just before the interview.. carry your SOP as well.. make a photocopy of all these documents and keep it stapled in a separate bunch.. it will come in handy..

No confirmation is required. It only means that you should be sure of your eligibility and they can cancel your candidature at any stage of process if they find that you are not eligible.

I am in my final year and have an outstanding backlog. Am I ineligible?

As long as you can clear your degree exam before joining college and produce migration certificate and degree by october (latest december) then you are fine.

i had a backlog in 2nd semester which was eventually cleared in 4th semester(the very next attempt).
after that, i have had no pending backlogs.... moreover, my university follows the credit system, wherein one has the option of leaving 13 credits and still get the final degree...
PS: 7th sem result is still awaited...
