Well, many people may know it but I want to tell that those who have been called for FT-MBA were also given option of joining NMIMS Bangalore/Hyderabad. So I wouldn't be surprised if lower ranks from FT-MBA would be able to convert NMIMS Bangalore/Hyd. Don't know but after my relatively below avg. PI, I am getting the feeling that I will be the one to get Bangalore Campus.

overall :145

the cut off for nmims b'lore campus has not gone too low..it has been 200....with sectional cut off has got lowered by 1-2 marks....Like i got 201 marks in nmat..n many of my friends getting 200<210 did not get the call for they didnt clear the sectional cut off

how to perceive it with regards to the above........

i am not comparing but am looking forward for some views taking into fact that

nmims bangalore had to re call new applicants in 2nd phase because enough quality applicants were not there...

plus this 2011 2013 batch would be a 2nd batch no legacy batches or clubs etc which usually are already their with old colleges

and total investments goes way beyond 11.5 lacks including hostel ?

i think it is a big risk/stake we need to take if going for nmims bangalore or hyderabad...

And on top of it they dont have a campus as such
the buliding is awesome looks like a mnc office of 4 floors...

hostel is in a residential society about 4 kms away from the buliding...

buddy you're absolutely right..even i was in same dilemma...i got calls from,IIM-A(AGBM),IIM-K,SIMS,GIM and NMIMS-B.....now even i was thinking abt same...but all in all placemnt and all based on each ones peformance...and i don think you hav to worry about their placemnts..yes we dont know the actual figures...but i took my decision to attend their GD/PI aftr the seeing d growth of SIBM-B..now its not a comparision...but was sme situation...they are new in bangalore...and see their placemnt chart Growth....all n all..convert all your calls....and then we can choose the best...till then wats wrong in Attending GD/PI..:-)..ATB

i had cleared all sectional cutoffs and overall 209 missed by 1 mark

but now they are calling the ones who have not even applied and who have applied to mumbai campus but were not shortlisted for the same....

may be they didnt get enough students for the new campuses....

this is a second phase of calls being made to mumbai campus people who were not called for mumbai but had applied for mumbai...

Buddy, there's indeed a lot of confusion in the call making process. I think, the best persons to clear this confusion are the admission cell members of the college. Only they can tell the criteria based on which they are making calls. I suggest you to call up the college and ask them directly.

I been to this campus
looks more like a office...
hostel(in a society @ Rs 10000 / month) is 4 kms away from building so u might miss that residential campus type feeling and outdoor sports etc.

i think they didnt receive enough applications as it is a new college and their fee is 10 lack plus...

and no idea about concrete placement figures as of now as 1st batch is in their summers only...

Big risk to take with a lot of money to put in and and no legacy of older batches as such...

it might turn out to be a good b school or it might turn out to be a dud as well...

Only time will tell....

and u have to go to bangalore for interviews as their application process and placement process everything is seperate from main campus...

hi guys....i saw all the quieries reagrding bangalore/hyderabd call...now amnt a student of NMIMS...but am a banglorean and i already given NMIMS banaglore Interview.....now as far as my knowledge extends i wil lshare wateve i know about the college....
now till now 7dayz of GD/PI taken wth average 9ppl in a slot..and its 2slot/day....so they called almost 140-150 ppl for 120seats in banaglore+ 60seats in hyderabad....same day i asked the lady thr,and she just smiled and said "we dont mind even keeping few seats Empty".....hmm kinda quality oriended i guess...
Now CAMPUS :- ....college looks like some multinational office at first look..and its worth...as i heard they had plans to expand it...and as for now..the campus is more than enough for a batch of 60students(Previous batch) and some EPE guys...and place like koramangala...its tough to get a campus like that:)..check out their roof top cafe...i find it intersting:oops::)
HOSTEL :- didt aw it..but i got a brochure on the day i given my GD/PI..and for amazing facilities and twin sharing rooms they are taking 9400bucks:)..which is quite reasonable...still...you can even try outside..and trust me if u own a bike here,u will know how fun it wil be here:)(Ping me regrding this,once u converted the call and decided to join):cheerio:.
PLACEMENTS:- now figures even i hav no idea..but i like their course structure a lot specially the SAP part..thats y i opted only Bangalore Campus even after 220 in NMAT(i was not confident of it till i saw my results).but i dont REgret this decision....in banaglore..after IIM-B u wont hear anyother B-School as famous as that...despite 1000's of them open daily here...SIBM started their campus i guess 2 years back..and u can see the progress...and NMIMS.will be just one step ahead than them...as far as i beleive....just heard from on guy who actually sold the building to NMIMS ppl that the summer placements are worth...and i dont think placemnt will be a issue here....not promoting the college just my opinion.

Guys, I'm also in the same boat. Received mail yesterday/the day before y'day. Would like to know about College from peers.
Should we go for B'lore/H'bad campus? I'm not doubting NM brand but still these are new campuses.
After all, it's 10lac+ bucks & most importantly 2 years.
