I had the same question a month back. Mailed admissions and got the follow reply.

Transfer/Migration certificate from the institute last attended is required, irrespective of the workex years.
Character/Conduct certificate from either your employer or institute last attended will do.

Puys, is anyone of you you reaching on 17th itself? Due to certain last minute changes, I can not leave on 16th & hope to catch 17th morning flight. The best I can reach is by 11-12 if I take early morning flight. Will the college provide me this slight exemption? I have been trying their phone today but could not talk to them. Who can I address the mail as well?

hey m also reaching BBSR on 17th the same time...I have informed the admin that I will b reaching the institute by 12....they cnfrmed that there wont b any prblm regarding the admission process for the late comers.

If possible call them and inform abt ur situation..

yes, its required .. u can get in touch with the admissions office for these queries .. I guess its best to reach out to them for ur registration related ques ..

these are the docs which have to presented at the time of registration along with their copies

1. Matriculation or equivalent certificate (for date of birth).
2. Degree certificate. If you are completing the Degree this year, a certificate from the Principal/Director of the College/Institute stating that all requirements for Degree including the final examinations, have been completed.
3. The marks lists of the Higher Secondary and Degree examinations.
4. Transfer/Migration Certificate from the College/Institute.
5. A character certificate from the Principal/Director of the College/Institute last attended.
6. Work experience certificate, if any.
7. Four recent passport-size and four stamp-size colour photographs.
8. Blood group report.
9. Medical fitness certificate.


just be ready with the essentials ( degree etc .. or provisional certificate in ur case ) .. I guess u ll always get time to collect other docs ( migration et al) ..

regarding loan .. well u can avail it from the SBI branch near the campus .. but I wud say it always depends on ur relationship wid the bank .. if u have gud rapport with them .. u can avail gud ROIs and without much hassles .. fyi the sbi near campus offers ROI of 10.25% ..

for the things u need in the hostel .. u can check one of my posts in the previous pages . or check for the "Survival Kit " topic discussion in the FB community ..

laptop discussion and evry thing else .. u ll find it there too ..

sent a mail today and got a confirmation reply

I have finally withdrawn my admission from XIMB.
The decision was very tough to make and gave me a few sleepless nights.
XIMB was a dream college for when I started preparing for MBA,so all the best to all the future champions of XIMB and a special welcome for waitlist no 1.
As for me,I will take a shot at CAT/XAT next near and hopefully I can justify my decision.

hmm.. surprisingly not much movement in the past 2-3 days
. I still see sm ppl stuck at wtlists of IIMK,NM nitie and the likes .. so hold on folks ..
and yeah .. do expect considerable movement in the week to come ..there might be a few people who will not withdraw uptil the last moment ..
and I think ( personal opinion) movements will happen beyond 20th as well ..
So u might have to run on a short notice ..
