I have been to alliance on feb 18th and attended the whole process.Short notes:
First there is an apti ..u will easily get through this one !!
then a micropresentation topics were .
india shining .
women and men equal
what we learn frm our history
global warming, and mine was email etiquettes in organisation.
this one was tough ...most guys cudnt speak .....this is for 3 min ...seniors were really helpful there .....
lastly a panel of four ...in mine there were 3 men one female....in the center was an old man in his 60's or something....as soon as i went in...first asekd
hw many supplies in engineering..what is ohms law...wat is gdp
who is the vice president of india?,,if u r happy wid ur job then why mba?
fav subject in engg i said networking....lan, wan ,internet.....www and internet....what are the various softwares.....devoleped in india?? most were happy wid my confidence ....i gt through.....n yes u have to giv 50000 before nxt day 12 noon .....non refundable!!!!!..best of luck to all ..hope i helped

ABA ofcourse. ABS not worth joining! Who are these institutes kiddin? How can their fees be as high as IIM's? Are they comparing themselves to IIMs? Can they give such huge ROI? NOPE! Look at Alliance or ICFAI! 10lacs+ fees! So not worth it. I know I started this thread but lost interest and didn't submit the form.

i applied for ABS, they gave me a call based on my academic performance.
And asked if i can attend the GD PI on feb 18/19/26/27.
THe problem is, CAT aint out yet...
and i am still not really prepared for the GD PI....

They also said, if i dont go thru it now, then only in April...
anyone got an advice or say on this?

i got call letter for gd/pi which is slated on 19th february (friday) at the campus.
i have a doubt... if i get selected when will they give the offer letter??? on the same day or after the selection process of cycle 2 is over??? i am doing my final year b.com, so will they give it once i clear all exams??? please tell me when they gave the offer letter last year...

Hey some seniors from Alliance Business School, can you please post some insight facts on the course, placements, avg. sal. and life @ alliance?

Also, to all puys, Alliance has this procedure to pay non-refundable Rs.50K on the immediate following day if you are selected. This year there has been delay in CAT results and most of the XAT accepting schools will come with their shortlist on March. So I see it as an issue to pay 50K immediately. What say?

average 4.5-6 lakhs.highest 10 lakhs.

puys i wish to know how is alliance as a mba college ... its fees is around 10 lakhs ... is it a bestshot if one is selected on feb 18th ...any idea about placement scenario at alliance...
