Hi Puys !! I know vocabulary play a very important role in CAT. A good vocabulary can easily fetch good percentile in CAT-2013. But I also understand its very difficult to learn all the words in short span of time. Even if you learn, you tend to forget words during exams.

Thinking about this. I came up with an idea, where we can use Meme and visuals to teach vocabulary. Visual memory have better recall value and you learn without putting extra efforts.

So Guys I need your ideas and suggestion to build a better vocabulary website.

coming back to pagalguy after a long time..

i have a small interest in improving my vocab always...and keep searching the net for stuff that can be useful and innovative..

have tried locating the perfect thread which highlights visual vocab but could not find one..so thought would start one of my own..

found a couple of really interesting vocab sites, so thought i should share with everyone:

love the visual vocab concept they are using..new site..limited words but the site is live..so daily one gets to know a couple of words, which is cool..have a look..:cheerio:

like its home page..pretty jazzy...for a dictionary...love the way they have designed the homepage..though still a little doubtful as to its purpose...

overall will be sharing some more links and vocab material that i have..
hope to find some nice inputs..

I am already subscribed to it through Google Channels..
They were active before....I can the last sms by them was on April 1, 2012
and before that on 28-November-2011.
So, they have also suspended their services...

Is there any site available which send Word of the Day SMS's to our phones in India ?

Previously, I remember , there used to be lot's of sites providing this..
But, now..It has stopped..
like, MyToday , Google SMS Channels and 160by2 (something like this, not sure).

Now, I couldnt find these..
However, there are Droid n other Apps for this..But, ppl who do not have a smartphone..still depend on Sms's, like me

P.S TestFunda and WordPundit have the "Word of the Day" mailers, but no sms's as such...
