Even in my Current profile in the NGO I wud be Channel Sales guy....so technically speaking I havent changed my profile....just moved on with a different Sector/industry...

BTW, am just 15 days old in the NGO world...have been all through out my Career, a Channel Management Sales guy....worked with MNC and world's leading Financial Services companies...did my full time MBA in 2000, from a leading college in Osmania University, but looking forward for a quality(World class) MBA..am sure ppl who have done an MBA from here wud know what I mean...

Devnar school for the blind requires scribes for the intermediate examinations of the students. The time table is as follows:

18 feb - telugu

they need 34 volunteers for the exam and volunteer has to be at the venue by 9:15 am. The blind kids need your help.

Guys - I was talking about samyuktha past few posts. Now samyuktha is looking for a team who can run around hyderabad to find out communities who needs school. Team should be co-ordinating with community people until school is started.

This activity of roaming around hyd will be once in 2 or 3 weeks, If any one of you are interested, Please reply.

Boomba - As i already mentioned Samyuktha do that teaching to children from different slums. This saturday, we will meeting at schools (Ofcourse, every saturday they will be meeting, i will be going this satuday ).

Nyway, mehdipatnam school is no more...here are few NGO's i know..

-> Yamini School of Mentally Challenged Children - Around 45 Mentally challenged children are undergoing classes here - Truly a touching move by chairmen and these children certainly requires more pagal's hands..Its in Kukatpally - Interested can send mail to me or PM me..if you PM me, i may reply in another month or so. If you mail me, may be one or 2 days...

-> Helpage India - This is for oldage people, these guys go to all slum areas and identify old people, who need help and invest on them. After some days, Old people should repay these guys some amt...you can search for helpage india in google.

-> Make a Wish - Certainly a big org, but always you can volunteer..

-> Samyukta - Last but not least, whose volunteers will have good enthu to help people, but no good time bcoz all are children of IT industry. Contact me for details of samyukta...

Gud that someone participated in this.
We did some teaching in Mehdipatnam slum school from Dec 2006 till July 2007.
Later on, shifted the kids to school.

Now, I have shifted to Chandanagar, near Lingampalli......... finding some places.

As of now, I visit Sivananda Rehabilitation centre at Kukatpally.

Will keep you posted once I find some work to be done by all of us.

there is 1 school run near a slum in Mehdipatnam....
On Saturdays, the school is open from 10 AM to 1 PM n Sunday is a holiday.
U can look at coming there on Saturdays n help the kids with Math n English.
Do u know Telugu??:)- Otherwise also, we can take it forward through Hindi.....I suppose.
