chinmayfreebird posted 12:55 PM, 27 Aug '12 Yes, a child should be taught the value of money and the effort which goes in to earn the amount. As age has got nothing to do with maturity, a child of 14 is good enough to learn the importance of a well laid future. Regards, Chinmay School of Inspired Leadership @bibs.mba said: Teens should be made financially literate. It's said the things learnt early remain lifelong, then why not good financial habits. At fourteen children should understand issues such as, budgeting, debt, savings and credit cards. It's a good idea to open bank account for them and allow them to operate it themselves. Parents should deposit their kid's pocket money in bank accounts, which the kids can access as and when required keeping a track of their expenditure.> >Basic money management skills will make children financially mature to handle worse situations comfortably. budhpal posted 04:14 PM, 07 May '12 I wish to nominate Padma Bhushan Shri Shiv Nadar Chairman HCL Group of companies as Candidate for future Indian President election. Salient features of his profile are as follows:- 1. At a time when India had a total of 250 computers, Shiv Nadar led a young team of eight which passionately believed in and bet on the growth of the IT industry. That vision in 1976, born out of a Delhi barsaati, akin to a garage start-up, resulted three decades later into a global transformational technology enterprise. Today, HCL is a $6.2-billion global enterprise with over 90,000 professionals from diverse nationalities, who operate from 31 countries including over 505 points of presence in India. 2. From designing Indias first PC at the same time as global IT peers in 1978; to working on the Boeing Dreamliner's airborne systems today, HCL has stayed a true Pioneer of Modern Computing. HCLs range of offerings spans Product Engineering, Custom & Package Applications, BPO, IT Infrastructure Ser... Read More » -

budhpal posted 08:32 PM, 21 Mar '12 What is the most important thing manager wish he had known before he joined any organization? Most frequently points pondered are: I wish Id known what company is really like. Many of managers got most of their information (really misinformation) about what company was supposed to be like from the media and they believed it until reality struck. I wish Id known more about myself. These managers had very little idea of who they were or would like to be when they were not trying to please the management around them. I wish I hadnt been in such a hurry so I couldve taken the time I needed. These managers feel pressure to join in a hurry without giving second thought. I wish I knew just how much organizational patterns could influence me. These managers were so surprised by how difficult it was to blend their own ideas with their company ideas of what job profile was supposed to be like. I wish Id known that bad behaviour can get worse. This very common response comes from managers... Read More »
