After first process:

Orange juice = 10-x
Pineapple juice = x

Ratio = 10-x:x
After 2nd process :

Orange juice = (10-x) - x(10-x)/10 ---- (1)

Profit = 60/4 = 15

=> S.P. = 115

Given C.P. = 60*1.2 + 40*1.3 = 72 + 52 = 124
S.P. - 115*1.6 = 184
=> Profit = (184 - 124)/124 = 60/124 = 0.4839

2.) 20 couples mean 20 men and 20 women.
Total handshakes within same sex = C(20,2)*2 = 380.....We have multiplied by two because of men and women
