I have heard more about the RC book by sujit kumar so you can guess my answer . And according to me if you practice previous yr papers of cat and other management exams like fms, xat papers .....if u have joined any mocks then those papers and different coaching materials ...

I am currently studying at Bullseye and I also have TIME study material, would it be sufficient for section 2 ? or Would you suggest me to buy other books ? My LR section is quite strong though.
VA-LR section can be a real bummer, its a minefield of negatives sprinkled all over the place.After giving cat 3 times I have realized that most of us have a tendency of misjudging the difficulty level of Sec-II and over attempting which really messes up the score due to normalisation and stuff...

@[583593:sonamaries7] Hey, for this it requires consistent lookout. U need to read from varied sources - newspapers, business mags and the like. Over that, if u pick up any gud VA book (as in Arun Sharma etc.), u will find ample stuff.

Book on RC by Sujit Kumar is a nice book and tough also u will find quality passages and about rest i dnt know. for practicing Passages u can try CL's Test gym where they cover all the areas and they are also good . For verbal IMS material is really good

last year across many question sets in CAT LR was the greatest juicy stuff it was found to be very easy and fruitul keep practising time materials and arun sharma's book it would be very useful
bro,i suggest you to make a diary to note down new words with their meaning & simple example.
This way,you can retain wordlist in your memory for long time(using trick of mnemonic vocab),instead of simply mugging up.

Yes there were qs on phrasal verbs(as reported by puys who took cat).I had posted a similar query in this forum before but did not get a convincing reply.Puys plz don't post links of phrasal verb lists .Provide a feasible way of approaching them.
