does any1 has any clue..that june 2010 exam will take place in india or not..??
as of nw v have nly centres that are outside india as an option...as last june also the institue gave an option to shift the centre to mumbai if we want...will we get this option this time tooo??
and what is the update on the litigation filed by the institute....??

I am a Newbie.I have recently appeared in my final year exams(B.COM,it's a 3year college degree program) and would like to register for the CFA JUNE'10 LEVEL 1 exam.I don't have any work experience whatsoever.I know that the registrations for the JUNE'10 exam shall immense after the JUNE'09 exam.Now,i would request u guys to enlighten me on the registration process and enrollment eligilbilty.I have 3 questions for u :-

1.)Does my university graduation degree(3yrs)qaulifies as a degree equivalent to U.S. bachelors degree?

2.)As mentioned above,i don't have any work experiance,Can i still register for the exam?

3.)I don't have a credit card,Can i use my cousin's credit card for registration?but then the SHIPPING address and the BILLING address will be different,would that be a problem?

After reading a few threads about CFA. I have deduced that CFA degree can be obtained from the CFA insititue(USA) and ICFAI India. Could somone explain as to what is the difference between these degrees. Which one would be better, the difficulty level and stuff like that.

I have only done level 1 of CFA (US).

The reason i feel that US one is easy compared to ICFAI one is becaz the US have MCQ in level 1 and 2. Compared to subjective in ICFAI.

Thats the only reason i feel. In fact during my college time i took ICFAI and failed .

Also its US based exam yaar. So I think those are any days easier than Indian exams.

These are my views and ppl can defer from this.

Have you done CFA ? I mean any one of it ? Because after going through 'Need Some Opinion about CFA' thread almost all of them, most of them have done CFA, US, quoted that CFA,US is tougher.

Can you please back what you said. Just want to know. No sarcasm meant.

I dont agree to the CFA (US one) is tougher. I think ICFAI is tougher.

Regarding the adding value to your CV it does. and if you want to go work outside India then its worth doing it.

CFA USA is worth doing. It will give u better knowledge and add more to your CV , but is obviously tougher.
