which is best for di?

For DI, previous year mock papers would be a good source. The caselets would be of a better level than what can be found in the study material. If you want to practice LR caselets, you can go through George Summers and Shakuntala Devi's books. They might just give you an idea as to how to go about solving a logical reasoning puzzle.

No one can teach you LRDI brother... Its all about your own aptitude and IQ... And yes, clubbing that with lots of practice makes things much easier. Going by that I would say, Arun Sharma LRDI is excellent since it offers a large number of tests and practice questions to its readers. Start solving the exercises of the book and I can guarantee that after a month or two you'll surely come back to PG and recommend the same same book to your peers! Best of luck!

I recently bought Arun shaRMA DI and Quant..
Quant is extensive ..has a lot of tips and is full of exercises
But DI is a disappointment.. It has only exercises... the buildup or concepts section is inadequate.. i suggest that you dont go for the DI book

I have quant and LA arun sharma both looks good with plenty of examples.. Especially LA i like variuos level RC helping me improve my RC section..DI best is to refer various forums from net.

For all these areas any book that deals with mba entrance exam like CAT is good. You could go for RS Agarwal for quant. Wren and martin can be used for verbal. There are books called how to prepare for DI for cat ; these are good for DI preparation.

What about the VA book by Arun Sharma... how is it???

As far as LR is concerned there is no specific book which cover everything.So for LR you could solve the various questions posted in Pagalgy,Totalgadha.

For DI as i have stated earlier Arun Sharma book although is a good one but keeping in mind that CAT has been online it would be better if you solve questions online.DI Questions in arun sharma books are very lengthy.

go 4 d arun sharma book......it's true dat it has got very few lr & mostly di......but do those few 4 a start.....y not.& make urself very comfortable wid those.....play wid dose qns..modify them to ur wish and see d beauty......after a point of tym u will see all such qns are same(basically d same gal wid diff. makeups)...take ur understanding to a diff level......itz simple..it really is
quantum cat is very gud 4 quants.....but do it selectively....not much tym left

This book costs somewhere b/w 200-250 .

I don't know about arihant quantum cat usually arihant books are good i have used them for medical but right now i am just reading few good sat books since the exam is on november 4th.

I haven't used Quantum CAT for Quant...But would definitely recommend Arun Sharma for Quant...
