The Regional Dream Teams are back and so is the coveted KDT - "Kolkata Dream Team".

The names - prem_ravi, rik_12, skr_14, first_timer, the_bmr, ashish13dec, SKS, TnT, TargetCat, rohit_khedia....so many stellar performers, some current PGDM students, and some have already dipped in the holy waters of The other side....

Known for being leaders, inspiring others....

Here we are to create a team based out of Kolkata, the city people say "Lost in Transition"...but over the years CAT results have proved otherwise, a city which repeatedly gives u cent %ilers.....and mock maulers......Here's a snapshot of last few years performers...

The Process and Format for Nominations

The nomination process is fairly simple. One just has to show his/her interest in the team and tell us why (s)he should be considered for a position

One can nominate himself, any other person whom he thinks is fit for a position in the team and also if one wants he can nominate members for all the positions offered.
The following format should be followed for nominations
A brief introduction about yourself (including why do you think that you should be considered)
Mock Scores
Past Performances
Your Strengths (like VA, QA, DI etc)
Anything else that you would like to mention, specially the Kolkata connect(Refrain from forced links)

Deadlines:

Nominations Start : Today, right after this is posted.

Nominations End: 05 Aug, 23:59:59

Results to be declared on: TBD

How do I put up a nomination? What is the criteria for getting selected?

Nothing much. Just a Statement Of Purpose as to why you should be in the team. Mock scores ( preferably a link to mock repository post of yours ) and past acads desirable. And obviously, your participation in threads, relevant contributions, and tenacity.

Nominate yourself or a Team u feel worthy of being the KDT or both.....

firsty i think the time is right to expose @DEBJITNAG 's despogiri.. i had the good luck to stay with him in delhi when we were registering for FMS.. He had taken a hotel and graciously called me over to stay with him i grabbed the opportunity to spend time with such greatness.. the room turned out to be one of those "decent" ones. with sheets with very questionable stains..... While the great debjit liked the delhi girls very much, his idea of sightseeing in delhi was going to see indira gandhi museum and other historical places.. However all that was avoided because debjit could check his A result from my phone.. the convert which he saw in a cycle rickshaw stuck in traffic at chandni chowk will be something that neither i nor he will forget.. thanks to this convert i was able to get debjit to treat me to lunch and much more... He on the other hand was more worried about how i was dealing with my reject and was continuosly saying ki tu C jaaega rather than celebrating his convert.. at the end this looks like a fanpost rather than an expose.. but he knows abiout the things he said and did, and i think thatsmore than enough..

koyal1990 18th is a problem for me also... my only absolutely good-for-nothing sister was born on the 18th of May... so might have family issues that evening... if it is a problem to reschedule it then you guys continue on the 18th... and Oly it is.. \m/... @ankita14 when are you leaving??? happy journey.. have funn!! get gifts for me.. :mg:..

This year after pathetic result desperation kicked in; didn't get time to prepare. So was looking for option with 30K as investment.
