Hello Friends.

Well... it was a great time here at the AIPGM. And before any rumours start spreading, here are the winners.

The audit of votes was carried out by puri.pallavi and visionIIM-ACL alongwith some moral support provided by grondmaster. swatysachdeva and vishal das provided actual, moral and comic support during the audit.

As mentioned by PP in the locking post of the nominations thread, we did find some posts we were not comfortable with, and took a call not to include them in the final tally. After discounting such posts, here are the winners of this year's Puyscars:

Thanks a lot guys....I can't express my feelings in words. Its just something I was not expecting at all. Thanks a lot for all the love and for recognizing my work here

I was mostly handling MAT Threads all these years and then I was selected as CheerLeader of SBT Team my best experience in PG so far I never expected to win this award just on the basis on MAT and SBT. This only proves one thing puys do have the capability to recognise the work even if its not very highlighted for all of you.

Special Thanks to all the auditors and especially puri.pallavi and VisionIIM_ACLfor auditing the votes really well, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible.

The awesome part was getting voted by PP, the PG Queen herself for 2 years consecutively thanks a lot PP

9. Most Active PG City: Bangalore

Really happy to see Bangy becoming the PG City again (last year, it was tied with Delhi). The Bangy PG madcapz have done a great job to promote the PG activities in the city.

I really felt Pune will make the cut and I heard some very enthusiatic puys are working very hard in Pune as well.

Heard a lot of Deepak in Pune. Really wanted to meet him in the AIPGM but I guess my luck wasn't with me to attend this AIPGM.

PG King- according to me, Vision IIM-ACL should win this one because of his immense contribution on PG :cheerio:, though naga25french/ rahicecream are also potential candidates :cheers:

i don't know if i'm eligible to nominate but as the parameters are not there i think i might do a little bit of oscaring for others. :)

I don't think i know everyone so well, but from my few favourites i will love them to be seen nominated.

PG King (Please give a reason in two lines) : for me Rahicecream.I have looked into his posts and found out he is very passionate about the things he loves doing.Apart from that he is omnipresent in almost all threads.
I hope the alter ego is not much different from the character which i assume it to be.

I can vouch for Abhishek009 for this.He is one of the best poster in bank po threads .He not only makes time inspite of his busy schedule instead he mentors newbies on every kind of information.Considering here most of the people go for cat , i would still urge to look beyond the cat realm and have a look at his post quality.They are always crisp,straightword and does lot of good.Many are indebted to this guy. Infact to help us knowing the salary scale ,he uploaded his salary slip . :grin:

20. Most Helpful user in Quant section - This could have been chillfactor but my vote is for pk_gt1 .No second thoughts,but i think you are assuming qa with dilr like the new cat format, i think person who post one di/lr caselet should be equated to more than 2-3 sums and for this reason i think pk_gt1 deserves a special mention. The entire di thread looked like as if he has managed it singlehandedly. Just look at the number of caselets posted by him and the quality of those.These are far far better than any mocks i have ever attempted. Kudos to you man ,u hae made my di lr section better.

21. Most Helpful user in Verbal section-Spectramind.He is verbal guru and in fact again he is omnipresent in all va threads.No second thoughts on any other person

He answered many queries of fellow puys especially related to economics and current happening in the financial world. He also uploaded videos of himself talking about various current issues.

I hope everyone knows that Naga turned an OMPA this year in Jan

As i said in PM , i dont think i am OMPA both in terms of credentials as well as age (Old Men Pagal Association)

Your logic may be right but unfortunately whole concept of OMPA will be lost by nominating aspirant like me .. Its quite disappointing to see that i am considered for this category .

Many people have voted 2/3 names at places where we are supposed to vote for 1 Puy only. So, for all those people there is this rule regarding such votes.

- Only one nomination per award. Only the first name mentioned in any category will be considered as a vote. Rest of the names mentioned in the category will not be considered for the award. (Of course 3 names are allowed where we have asked you for 3 names)

I think many would want to give a 2nd thought to such votes.

Most Helpful B-Schooler/Alumnus: This award should definitely go to Avinash Kumar Jha. I have never seen any bschooler so much active and answering all the queries on any damn thread.

For example when xat exam was held soon the thread crossed 100 page mark and out of sudden he came out to answer all the queries asked on various pages. This clearly shows how closely he was following the thread and not to forget the work he did on gim and cmat and many other such threads :grin:

PG Queen I believe this should go to Cutie.pie. She singly carried out all the works on a lesser known thread called ''Good Mat bschools' for a long period of time. One of the most active girls on pg and apart from mat thread she helped out hundreds of users across various threads.

Just got to know that Naga is an OMPA :w00t:. So again best OMPA , Naga . Period

For fav poster my suggestion is abhimukh19. His post are like gold and inspite of being a bschooler he contributed a lot to pg. Moreover you can learn something from each of his posts.

In mba section one often picks best posters from quants threads. But my vote goes to Sakshi_kukreja as best poster since very few concentrate on gk thread. In short there are many to carry out works on quants thread but to show that much dedication on gk thread an integral part of many entrances needs something. :D

And for helpful user I will recommend rajatjain10/venkatramanr for gk thread and harry sir/palak mathur for sop threads

Just received a PM from Naga where in he doesnt consider himself an OMPA. He gave me the link to the OMPA thread and told me that its for people who have completed MBA. But I happened to read between the lines and in came the definition.
