how did i getta knw abt d forum?

Well one fine day i wrote time mock cat in d F/N session in loyola n had CL's free mock cat in d aftanoon!!

Finished time's mock n had my lunch came back n as there was 2hrs gap in between i was juz sittin n doin what i was best at....

I then met this guy who was nxt 2 me n picked up a conversation n found him 2 b none other than Mr.Oxymoron

He was the one who told me abt PG.com n frm then on no looking back!

Thanx Oxymoron 4 tellin me abt this coz its been a fantabulous experience over here n i'm sure it will be frm hereon!

Poor guy he didn't even take the referral credit 4 introducing me!

Even i came to know abt this site from Ims forum
initially i used to come to this forum once in a while but now going by the number of post i have made, i guess i have become an addict here

dont quite remember but i guess while i was searching google for some cat related site .. i happened to come across a personal hopepage of somebody and in the links section the guy had mentioned PG as one of the sites ... !!

I was searching for CAT results...did a google search and lo an behold...here I was!!!

It was 11/09 the first anniversary of WTO ,while surfing thru sify I came to know about this forum.Ek saal baad PG mein main crash hua tha......

well after the jmet results were declared i wanted to what were my pros whith my rank so started to search in google with different keywords and even though pagalguy showed up i discarded it cauz the name but finally after going through all the junk took the plunge and no looking back since PG is the 1 stop solution for anything relavent to MBA aspirants and much more u woundt beleive it i stoped visiting ims website felt no need for it PG hai na

After the retest, I decided not to check my scores or even look at sites with expected cutoffs. But, as is the norm with all such resolutions, this one too lasted only till halfay from the center to my home!!!! Reached home, checked the paper and logged on to see expected cutoffs. Whaddya know, IMS had me at 25 below the cutoff!

Went to the Discussion Board there and saw that all the people talking of realistic sounding scores were recommending this site. And yeah, the name really did interest me. :D:D:D:D So, here I am......

well,after the disastrous re-test..i kept visiting the ims site! boy,was that a confidence dampener or what ! the expected cut-offs were atrocious and i started checking their discussion board. thats where i saw a few ppl recommending this site and i checked it out just for the heck of it ! really thought that pagalguy was a rather odd and corny name for a site meant for CAT aspirants ! well,once i checked this out ...i was hooked coz like morpheus said ....i get to free my mind here ! gr8 place to just write about anything u want ! enjoyed myself here despite screwing CAT & probably getting the lowest score on this forum ! or have the ppl with low percentiles not posted their scores.... ?

hmm....interesting question....well, it so happened that after cat got cancelled, i got fed up with all worldly pleasures and other arousing activities that i decided to take a break from the ever so sucking work of mine and decided to go the Himalayas in quest of self-mortification and Moksha from all cat related activities to seek penance and renounce upon all the amazing Quants and DI abilities that i've ghotofied....

Which is when God appeared and offered me Salvation_package.java in return for my commitment to spam http://www.PagalGuy.com/cat daily for the next 254 Days as there were rumours doing rounds in Times of Heaven that people were getting more and more involved in spending time on the portal than singing Paeans of the Software industry like Moronic Imbecile Dolts and chucking their performance appraisals :|

From that gratifying moment on, i've spent time of PagalGuy in an ernest and humble attempt to please the gods convince people to get back to their run of the mill Software coding and commenting codes

IMS discussion board zindabad. completely hooked to this site. the name of ur site is amazing. that is one of the USP. actually that made me check it out. had it been some cat n mouse names wouldnt have even bothered. greatttt work pagalguy n all moderators. keep it up.

I came to know about PG from the Time discussion board .Someone had posted a message saying that this a good site for Cat aspirants.I think he was way off the mark..This site is an absolute ripper , its a must for any Cat aspirant.It is in the words of Tony Greig "an absolute beauty ".I have mentioned this in my intro as well.

I had just found out that I had cleared XIMB written so typed XIMB percentile in the search box n found a link to this site on the second page. (maybe the search gods were pleased wit me 4 some reason) N thus I was came to know abt this wonderful site.

well i got to know abt it while searching for gd tips {thru google}. n also some mentioned while we were sitting for scmhrd's gd.
so .....here i am..

Got to know abt the site from Google as well as IMS. Abt 2 hrs after giving the CAT, i gotta know that there was a leak and there might be a re-test. However there were contradictory views going around all over the place. So I went to IMS' website to clear my doubts and in the discussions there, this website was mentioned like a gazillion times. Plus I gave a search for CAT analysis in google and this Website was on the first page itself. So had to sign up. ITs been a treasure trove of info and Im constantly amazed at how fast any sorta news related to Bschool exams reaches here.
