As of now,don't go too much into the magazine world.Start with newspapers and some easy novels Agatha Christie is a lovable author.And there are so many novels by her!!!So start with her.If you get bored by her genre,move to a different one

For magazines you can start with Business Today as the articles are quite easy to understand & you would get familiar with many business, economics terminology which would help you in CAT prep later along with this you can read FRONTLINE which would help you to develop a rich & good bank of new words.

As far as novels are concerned read whatever you like but just don't stick to fiction but expand your range by reading navels on various topics like autobiography, self-help, management, technology, etc.

i have a work experience of more than a year in dubai, UAE.i used to work full time as secretary while i used to pursue my graduation through evening classes...

now am looking forward to join a good Bschool...yup i hav become late...though late i got a counselor who is helping me out to use my may 2012 mat score of 98 percentile to get thru ....

My dream is to be a writer for a magazine/newspaper/ads etc.... had gotten a decent 12th score (91.5%) but thanks to i ended up taking a crappy Engg course and got stuck there for 4 yrs...

Revelling in my new found freedom after 4 yrs.... Not interested in working in IT sector, didn't apply for any jobs at all..!!!

AIM : MICA 2013 batch.... somehow make it to MICA... I feel its like a rehabilitation centre for my dying creative soul...

If you score above 99.50%+ in CAT with all sectional cut-off expect calls from Top B-Schools with few IIMs calls as well (but again it'll depend on IIMs selection criteria)
