PRATIGYA is a campaign initiated by the students of SIES College of Management Studies(SIESCOMS), to realize the Governments ban on smoking in public places. The ideology aims to create awareness amongst the masses about the ill effects of smoking in public places and its impact on society at large.
In conjunction with Pratigya, a city wide campaign raising awareness about the ill effects of smoking in public places is to be launched. SIESCOMS invites you to render your support for this Nobel cause.
The campaign has by now received a jump start in its initial phase. The State Health Ministry has appreciated this initiative and has extended its worthy support to the cause.
The campaign is conceptualized through different mediums and platforms to communicate the campaign's motto to the common masses. Commencing with street plays across the city, road shows Pratigya will end with a WALKATHON that serves as the USP of the entire campaign. The walkathon will have participants from SIESCOMS, other colleges, corporates and public at large. The 4.5km walk from Oval Maidan to Girgaun chowpatty will resemble a peace rally with students carrying banners and posters reflecting the cause of the campaign. We aim to involve around 3000 people for walkthon.
The campaign aims to create a mass consciousness keeping in line with SIESCOMS' commitment towards the society. PRATIGYA, a one of its kind endeavor will epitomize the values and culture that SIESCOMS instills in its students.
