How abt the job prospects post PGSEM ? I have 8+ years of IT experience

..any info on waitlist movement anyone...? 15th was the last day for ppl in main list to confrm admission...

2008--till wl10 cleared
2009--no WL cleared

but i came across some info in yahoo grps that in 2009, no of seats were 75 and there were more than 75 selected ppl in main/prime list to account for ppl dropping out from the main list...so all 75 seats gt full and things never came to the wait-list.

this yr the main list has 75 candidates for 75 seats and 9 ppl are there in wait list...so hoping the WL moves this time....fingers crossed...will need to wait fr anothr 2-3 weeks...

how r everybody preparing for the sops ?? how exactly are the sops for pgsem supposed to be ?? i mean in terms of the overall look and feel ? koi deadline hain kya ?? i received a mail from the institute saying i have not submitted the sop yet nd should do it as early as possible for further processing of the applcations.
Also guys, i wanted to gather some info , i did some mistakes in my appl form while applying, and realized it very late, dunno wat state of mind i was in when i applied. i have done some mistakes in the work ex section , i did some mistake in the dates of joining in he form, its a couple of days only. but dats a mistake, also the company i was working for b4 does not exist now , it has been taken by some other company, so i put the name of the new company's name, and the docs i have is of the old company's. i did write a mail to the pgsem office a couple of weeks ago, stating the mistake and had even called up to remind, but nothing happened. a lady said it is of no use now changing the info after getting the interview call. anybody throw some light yaar. bahut tension hain.

I got my interview letter today by courier. Interview is on 24th April. There are no interview details provided like if it is Alumni interview or Faculty interview, or is it only one interview this time? Could someone give details please.

So just wait for them to settle down for a while. April 24 is far guys, chill and prepare for the interviews.

The SOP link has been activated and we can also download the Approval Form from the PGSEM site.
Haven't received any correspondence with regard to the Interview date. Any updates on this??

I've been shortlisted for PGSEM interviews. I'd applied through PGSEM Test. I'm truly excited as this is my first IIM call ever in my life... :

I got short listed for the interviews.
I want to know if there is any particular template for the approval form that we need to get from our companies? Will IIMB send the format to us?
Another thing was about the SOP's, is the SOP link enabled for anyone on the PGSEM site?
I also haven't received a mail confirming the interview dates.

Seats - 75 app
Interview, GD same as IIMB - extra would be a first round with the PGSEM Alumni which is unofficial just to get the hang of it... then the interviews and GD with the IIM profs... GD may be case study - PI - business as usual...

Dont know what is stopping the institute to send out mails to the shortlisted candidates. Niether the SOP link is enabled.

it is going to be out on the 12 of march on their website.separate emails will be sent to candidates who have cracked the written for interviews.

Do we need to fill a separate form for PGSEM ? I have already opted for the PGSEM course while filling up my CAT form. I have a CAT score of 98.61 percentile and a relevant work-ex of 30 months. Looking forward to ur replies ..

Der is a separate test for PGSEM but you can opt for PGSEM with your CAT/GMAT scores as well, if at all not happy wid any of those two scores you can take the test conducted by IIMB.
I appeared for the test, dunno whether the calls for interview have already started, anyone got call ????
