Ya there is a disc nearby NIA,around 15-20 mins from campus its called Area 51 Radha is not a disc its just a bar,another one is Sadanand these two are just opposite NIA.:)

may i get to know the various thing that we are being provided at the hostel...like almirah, mattress pillow etc......n i guess bikes are allowed...

Hi Sumit hope you are doing fine,sorry for the late reply actually all of us are busy with our summer internship so couldn't check PG regularly.Anyways coming to your query yes bikes are allowed and in hostel rooms,everythin u mentioned are provided,also except these u will be provided with a study table with lamp,2 chairs,2 tools,a water container,2 glasses,hangers,one goodnight machine,one towel, and in bathrooms u will be provided with two buckets,2 mugs,a tool.

Today,, In NIA,, we had a great lecture of MR Sunil Mehta ( Country head -AIG ) on "Business Ethics and corporate Governance".... we all learned a lot from him....
Also 5 students (including me) got selected for summers in First Apex at Bangalore... having a great fun and knowledge in NIA,,, still more to go !!

Well as per the last year's results,you can hope to get an interview call and the rest will depend on your gd/pi.
The fee is 9.68 lakhs all inclusive.The placements are on average 6.3 lakhs per annum and so you can recover your loan amount easily..

The last date for recieving the form is 31st jan.
Revert back if needed.

Why this thread,is almost dead???I feel all the folks have been vey lazy,these days.Exams are going on now in full swiing,and sleepless nights are what I am spending.Just waiting for 9th to come.:cheers:

Seniors I have few queries again
1)Do the classrooms & hostel have AC???
2)Do we have industrial tours???
3)How many persons are there per room in the hostel???

Lastly,I am reaching college on Monday morning,my parents will be coming with me & staying that day,in the college itself.So do I have to inform the college about that, before arriving,or not???

The whole academic block is air conditioned. No ACs in hostels. But the weather is so good all year round that you won't be needing air conditioning anyways. Some people still use blankets in the nights here. So I guess you got an idea about the weather here.

2)Do we have industrial tours???
No. We have more than enough interaction with the industry through seminars, workshops, summits, etc. All the head honchos of various firms come here to share their knowledge with us.

3)How many persons are there per room in the hostel???
2 people in each room.

Do I have to inform the college about that, before arriving,or not???
Its better that you call up the college and book a room for your parents in advance. They charge a very nominal fees for that. Somewhere around Rs.150-200 per room including food. Its ok even if you don't call but then the availability of rooms might be an issue at that time as many students will be coming.

Yes. We have a Bank of Maharashtra ATM. Almost all the ATM (visa/mastercard) cards work there. Only some of the maestro cards don't work.
