MILE gives an MBA degree from Pune University, go to ugc.ac.in and find pune university. Now go to unipune.ac.in and find Munchen Education Society (Run by MILE) at no. 162. Banks run a verification check on colleges before granting a student loan and students from MILE have got the loan sanctioned from pretty much every bank in India, it goes on to show that the institute is totally legit. @shorya007 Hey Shorya007 even colleges like IIMs and ISB Hyderabad are not AICTE approved and there is no problem regarding loan. The bank asks for the offer letter and the prospectus for granting loan.
So this is a bogus message which is spreading like a viral. MILE is founded by the ex-director of SITM, Pune. He is a dignified personality. Also, the co-founder of MILE, Dr. Samir Kapoor is a highly reputed man in the corporate world. So, by no chance they will play with the lives of students. Having sent two batches in the corporate world since its inception, it is a reputed college.

well today only i recieved a letter from some ALL INDIA MBA ASPIRANTS FORUM, BENGALURU.
i googled it out but didn't found anything related to them. they sent me the list of some colleges which are not AICTE approved and they referred these colleges as unapproved and bogus. MILE was among that list. they said in their letter that these colleges are fooling the students and financial institutions also don't provide any loans for the colleges which are not approved.

Great college and great people.... The intake of only 70 odd handpicked students from all corners of the country says it all about the quality they maintain.. I recon that they are more into quality than quantity.

This Avenger guy is a joke.... someone from MILE may have stolen his girlfriend.... I say this because my bro studies there and he is as happy as a dog with a bone... Sure the curriculum is tough and pragmatic but my young, immature and introvert bro has grown into a dynamic and fun loving personality. He's just bagged an internship with a top company. Proud of him and Kudos to MILE.

and recently 6 of my friends got a package of 6 lakh plus in MILE.
They did not have a work-ex. So guys ignore avengers700 and watch orignal avengers series instead.

avengers700 i have attended Samir Kapoor's PDP sessions(managing committee,MILE) at my coaching institute. He was the VC HSBC and he is on the interview panel of SIBM, SCMHRD, IIM-A,B, MDI to name a few. I am sure he can manage to get companies for palcement.
On top of that your asking to try out hoax and bogus college lyk Indira and Balaji.

IF you read some of other posts it mentions about their ZERO Placement record or if you consider 20%-30% placement figures of a management college to be figues then you must be joking..

In their first batch of 27 students only 10-11 got placed rest of them had to find placements on their own and the college management claims 100% placements with fake offer letters.
Later on In their second batch , out of 70 students only 28-29 got placed with 19k -22 k jobs. SOME OF THEM HAVE OFFER LETTERS OF 5-6.5 LAKHS but those offers are just 3-4 in number and that too students with work ex of 4 to 5 years.:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:
So if want to spend 6-7 lakhs and earn bread jam.. then only you will join this college (MILE).

hi, to tell you frankly about this college MILE, it would be a big NO
many reasons .. simply put= ZERO Placements , in their first batch of 27 students only 10-11 got placed rest of them had to find placements on their own and the college management claims 100% placements with fake offer letters.
Don't get fooled by their claims of CEO'S and CFO'S in the advisory board ,it means something when any company comes to campus. ZERO companies on campus except one or two BPO's LIKE Firstsource and 2-3 selections..

You will only remember your KG classes looking at the academic here. This course is not even worth 50k here. At the end of your prestigious Post Graduation, all they give u is your scores printed on an A4 sheet which never looks like a PG certificate. This management collge has no management at all. They cancel exams of students and send them for college promotion...Overall, i rate it 0/10

THROUGH CET try, try only for PUMBA in Pune. All other colleges would offer fierce competition with regards to placements as there are too many students (PG courses/MMM/MPM ).
While by and large infra seems good at MITSOM and Indira...there is ample evidence that a combination of companies/Faculty/reputation/alumni network that really matter.

and YES, colleges like MILE,Pune are just functioning to fraud with your money charging fees around 5.5 lacs+ university fees 72 k= 6.25 lac AND ZERO PLACEMENTS.. HARDLY 20% students get placed here and the college management keeps these 20% infront to show 100% Placements, don't get fooled by such colleges..don't talk to the contact no.'s provided by the managment of these students, MILE and SURYADATTA are some of these FAKE colleges.

MILE is not AICTE approved.I have a question for you.What is the importance of AICTE approval...It hardly matters whether a college is AICTE approved or not as far as it promises you to give best placements.

At MILE you can be assured of best placements.MILE is affiliated with SMU so the course is distance learning.Afterall if you are capable and you have all the skills you wont have any problems in the future..

Even if you are not capable and you do your MBA from AICTE approved college you will have a problem in future ..In short MBA is all about your skills and knowledge in the long run...

hey. I read that article. Yes summer internships are important activity for a quality B-school. I being a student at MILE realised the importance of structured internship process. Students getting into the best of organisations helps both the organisation as well the student manager. Organisation benefits from the fresh talent and the student gets a bright opportunity to work in a professional environment. my batch mates getting in organisations like Standard Chartered, Deloitte, Firstsource, I got in Microsoft. This is not possible if an institute is not bothered about the summer internships which play a vital role in a student manager's career. Importance of MBA: why I choose MILE
Mile stands for management institute for leadership & excellence where leadership & excellence are different from those of IIMs. MILE is place where coal is converted into the diamonds. And not is that because I am studying in this college therefore it is best but it is actually incredible!
Anyways, why there is so much of competition prevailing in the markets? Why people are getting good packages? May be a job satisfaction or 6 digits incentives.
Especially so in these times, you know the market slowdown and all. What with big brother casting shadows on our pride and joy, our young vibrant and growing BPO industry. Things seem a little murky right now and no thanks to monsoon really. It is just aint raining.
Anyway speaking of the slowdown we heard someone say this is the best time to invest in myself. Stock up on new skills sets; go after that PG course you always wanted to. I agree. I agree to that and I think it is best time to strengthen your career prospects so that the when the market bounce back your into the better position to leverage your work experience with sound CV that proudly proclaim you as an MBA. But compromising with the goals is impossible for me. Now talking personally, I want to see myself five years down the line working on the WALSTREET one of the reputed investment bank

Apart from setting goals one should be always proactive and do some implementation of what we decide in the planner. I really need to understand how it will help me and my career considering I have to invest my hard earned money and 2 years of my precious life ? I dont have any answer, almost as if I had expected. Firstly you do not need hard earned money or your parents money since you gets educational loan which you can start repaying only after getting recruited. Secondly MBA provides better career prospects with the wider choice in HR, FINANCE, Systems, MARKETING across industries like advertising, financial services, insurance, IT, retail, banking, capital markets, media, international business and many more options those are available

Life I think its discovered here at MILE.

As a student of MILE I would like to share my experience..The first day of the college was good .Samir Patham sir told us about the timings that we would be working from 5:00 AM to 10.00 PM and I was like what we will do in the early morning.It was basically jogging and it was very difficult for me to get up at 5 in the morning.It was actually my time to sleep in the Vacations ....lolz .But noqw it has become a regular schedule for me.During my bachelors I hardly studied in the college rather went to college for 5 to 6 hours .Here the attendence has to be 90% or above for each subjects.And guest lectures would be compulsory.We also have to shave daily and if not again assignments.The first 14 days of induction we learnt leadership,team work,coordination ,played various management games,also learnt how to handle critical situation and also to be punctual .If we were 5 minites late even for any lectures or classes or even for jogging .Sauraj Sir had 2 assignments ready for us.In a way it was good and that actually made me punctual.We interacted with CEO of Tata Quality Services the first day.Apart from this we had around 20 guest lectures from corporates wherein they gave us the exposure of Banking ,Telecom,BPO,KPO,Insurance,Hospitality Industry..We were also given exposure to Outbound training wherin we had to do river crossing ,and ya i cant forget we also were given vegetables and we had to cook food in an unfavourable climate(you never know when it will start raining).Its was first time that we started to cook food and it was really a lovely experience.and last if we dont even like the food we had cooked we had no other option but eat.But to be frank I think we managed to cook sabzi and khichdi which was yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy



I cant forget this experience that mile has given me through out my life.
All the credit goes to the entire Management Team of MILE who had been working for months to arrange such a lovely and interesting induction program for us
