Whoa...2 months without a post, and the thread languishing on Page 5 of this forum...:nono::nono: what are the juniors upto?
As for me, I'm just flowing along with the tides. No more nite-outs and early morning chai, no more waking up on mornings not knowing what surprise or shock awaits...life has settled into the corporate rhythm...and man, it gets soooo boring at times.
Went back to campus for the fachha summer ppt...felt strange being at the other end of the table, though interacting with the juniors in the dorm after that brought back a semblance of how things used to be not so long ago. Certain things have changed on campus...the increase in batch size has resulted in new buildings coming up...that uninterrupted view from my balcony I so loved is no more :-(....but well, thats the price we pay for government rules I guess.
College methinks is the last place where we really belong...right from school, undergrad to b-school, we have always had a place which was our own. Now with an organization you work for...well, its never your place...its just a place where you go and get the day over with. And after having left Wimwi, we are all looking for ways to continue our association with the place. This thread, especially to me, was one way of realizing the attachment. So IIMA puys, please do keep posting...for through your words, we still feel sometimes that we've never left.
Cheers to the good times...
